This week the children learned about Baby Moses and his sister, Miriam. They learned how situations can look terrible, but when we have faith, God provides a better solution than we could ever imagine.

During week one of Summer Sunday school we learned about Noah, the ark, and the symbolism of the rainbow. Then we made paper plate arks with fruitloop rainbows. Then we filled the arks with animal crackers.

Please join us this Sunday after worship as we say goodbye to Ken and Susan. This will be their last day worshiping with us for a while. We've planned a special coffee hour, so come help us send them on their way to a much deserved retirement! Hope to see you there - everyone is welcome!

Did you know that between Memorial Day and Labor Day, trauma cases often increase due to car accidents, outdoor activities, and seasonal travel, creating a greater need for blood.
At the same time, blood collection becomes more challenging due to busy schedules, vacations, school breaks, and severe weather. This makes it even more important to secure appointments in the coming weeks to maintain a stable blood supply for patients who rely on transfusions every day.

The PC(USA) is celebrating PRIDE all month long!
Today we want to draw your attention to the digital collection from the Presbyterian Historical Society that highlights LGBTQIA+ history across the theological spectrum. The collection in Pearl includes Presbyterian national agency records, personal papers, photographs, and oral histories.

Not only has PHS made this resource available, but they have also put together a brief Timeline of LGBTQIA+ History in the PC(USA) available through Sutori. The timeline, which stretches from 1970 to 2019, can be accessed here: https://tinyurl.com/ykzdyenx.

Yesterday the youth of our church led us in our worship service. They provided the music, led us in prayers, and read a heartfelt message. We recognized our graduating seniors, thanked all who helped with Sunday School and nursery this year, and enjoyed a picnic and lawn games outside. Such a wonderful day!
