It is what Winnie the Pooh would call a blustery day in east Texas. We were doing some tree trimming when I noticed our neighbor's donkeys. They were all standing with rears to the wind, facing the calm. It hit me, why don't I do that in my life? When storms come, I head off into them, often full speed ahead. What it I turned my back on the chaos, temptation, overwhelming situation and put my face, my focus on the calm; facing the one who can help me through the bluster? Life lessons from donkeys. Maybe God is using the hard headed to prove a point to the hard headed!
