❤️ Happy Pastor Appreciation Day! ❤️

Today we want to take a moment to thank our pastor for his love, dedication, and faithfulness to our church family. We are so blessed to have a pastor who stands boldly on God’s Word, loves his congregation, and has a heart for serving the Lord. Thank you for the prayers you pray, the sermons you preach, the encouragement you give, and the countless things you do that often go unseen. We appreciate you more than words can express, and we pray that God continues to bless you, strengthen you, and use you for His glory!

🙏💗 Today in Children’s Church, we learned that prayer is simply talking to God! 💗🙏

We talked about why we pray, how we can pray, what we can pray about, and when and where we can pray. The best part? There are no fancy words required and no special place we have to be—God wants to hear from us anytime, anywhere, and about anything! ❤️

📖 “Pray continually.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17

To help our kids make prayer a part of their everyday lives, we made our very own Prayer Jars! 🫙🙏 Each child decorated a jar and wrote people, things, and situations they want to pray about on popsicle sticks. They can take their jars home, pull out a stick each night, and spend a few moments praying about whatever is written on it. 💕

We talked about praying for our families and friends, people who are sick or hurting, things we’re worried about, things we need God’s help with, and all the many blessings we’re thankful for. And the best part is they can keep adding new prayer sticks as new prayer needs arise!

My prayer is that this simple little jar helps plant a BIG habit in these little hearts—the habit of turning to God in every situation. ❤️

🙏 We can talk to God anytime.
📍 We can talk to God anywhere.
❤️ We can talk to God about anything.
✨ And God always listens.

What a beautiful reminder for the kids…and for us grown-ups too! 🥰🙏
