Please keep our former pastor, Randy Seale, and his family in your prayers. He, Summer and Alana were in a pretty bad vehicle accident, hitting a horse which took the top off the vehicle. Summer and Alana are OK. Randy is at UAMS in Little Rock with some head and throat injuries.

Some of our folks have been out taking sanwichwes and hot food and looking for remote pockets of disaster. Thanks to the Ar. United Methodistst Conference disaster response team for coming to help in the area. The team has been working in some outlying areas. Their team leader also has high praises for town leadership keeping everyone focused on moving forward in meetings. Cave City Strong! Please pray for the long term rebuilding effort of all communities affected.

Tornado Recovery Update
3/16/2025 - 1:30pm

Volunteers, Donations, and Food

We are completely overwhelmed by the amount of love and support we are receiving. It cannot be overstated.

At this time, our relief center is full of food and other donation items. We just simply cannot take in any more at this time. Folks are currently getting what they need, and we thank you all for that. We will update again as supplies are used up, and we thank you for your cooperation on this. For now, please hold off on bringing more.

If you are in need of items, please come to the center at the middle school park lot and get those items. We have a lot to offer and folks there ready to distribute it!

As for volunteers, wow. Thank you so much. We are now in the same situation. We have everything covered with the many who are now here and onsite. Please hold off before sending additional teams to Cave City, but check with other communities and counties who were also hit hard here.

We thank God for the ability to post this, saying that our current needs are being met. We don’t want to be overwhelmed and end up having more issues here because of that. Praise God and thank you all for that level of support! Now that will no doubt change in the days and weeks ahead, and we will update as we are able to take in more support like this.

Operationally, we are moving ahead. Entergy and others are quickly restoring power! The state and highway police are here. The national guard is here. The Red Cross is here. Good trucks and relief organizations are here. Thank God almighty for ya’ll.

We currently have two major operations centers. The middle school parking lot is serving citizen needs. The fire department is serving state and local operational needs. Please check in with the appropriate center when you have questions.

This is a very important update that needs to be shared. Call and tell people. Copy and paste. Share it, please.

I am in awe of our people. There is no place I’d rather be, and no group I’d rather be with, while facing this situation. We are going to walk through this and be better because of it.

Stay strong, Cave City. Let’s lock arms and keep going. ❤️
