💬 FAMILY DISCUSSION

Even mysteries can bring us closer to God. ✨

Yesterday at Mass, we celebrated the mystery of the Holy Trinity.

While we can never fully understand God, we can know His love.

Ask your child:

What do you know about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

How does God show love to our family?

Why do we make the Sign of the Cross?

In the second reading, St. Paul encourages believers to live in peace and unity.

Our families are called to reflect God’s love too. ❤️

🌟Practice making a slow and meaningful Sign of the Cross together today.

✝️ THIS WEEK AT MASS

God’s love is bigger than we can imagine. ❤️

This Sunday, the Church celebrates The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity.

The Trinity is one God in three Divine Persons:

✝️ God the Father
✝️ God the Son
✝️ God the Holy Spirit

In this Sunday’s Gospel, we hear one of the most loved verses in Scripture:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son…”
(Bible John 3:16)

The Trinity reminds us that God is not distant.

God loves us, saves us, and remains with us always.

Every time we make the Sign of the Cross, we remember we belong to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. ✨

🌟After Mass, ask your family: “What does God’s love mean to you?”

🙏 FAMILY PRAYER

End the week by asking for the Holy Spirit’s peace. ❤️

Come, Holy Spirit,
fill our family with Your peace,
help us forgive with love,
give us courage to follow Jesus,
and guide us each day in faith.

Amen.

🌟 Pray this together before bedtime tonight.

The Holy Spirit works through small acts of love. ✨

❤️ FAMILY ACTION

This week:

Practice one act of peace or forgiveness.

You might:

• apologize after an argument
• forgive someone quickly
• encourage a person who is struggling
• pray for someone who hurt you

Then pray together:

“Holy Spirit, help us live with peace and love.”

Small acts of mercy help families grow stronger in faith. ❤️

🌟Choose one act of peace to practice before Sunday.

The Holy Spirit can transform anyone. 🔥

🌟 SAINT OF THE WEEK - Saint Peter

Who was he?

St. Peter loved Jesus deeply—but he also experienced fear and failure.

After Jesus’ death, Peter hid with the other disciples behind locked doors.

But after receiving the Holy Spirit, Peter became a bold preacher of the Gospel.

He went from fearful disciple to courageous leader of the Church.

✨ His story reminds us:

God can work powerfully through imperfect people.

Why this saint this week?

Pentecost celebrates the moment the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and sent out on mission.

St. Peter shows us what happens when we allow God to transform our hearts.

🌟Ask God today for courage in one difficult area of your life.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day

Today we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As we gather with family and friends, may we pause with gratitude for the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy.

We also pray for:
✝️ those who died in service
✝️ the families who carry their loss
✝️ all veterans and active military members

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
(Bible John 15:13)

May God grant eternal rest to the fallen and peace to all who mourn. ❤️

🌟 Take a quiet moment today to pray for military families and those who gave their lives in service.

God meets us even in fear. ❤️

Yesterday at Mass, we heard how Jesus came to His disciples when they were afraid and filled them with peace.

Continue the conversation at home today.

Ask your child:

1. Why do you think the disciples were afraid?
2. What does the Holy Spirit help us do?
3. When do you need Jesus’ peace most?

Pentecost reminds us that God does not leave us alone.

The Holy Spirit strengthens us every day. ✨

🌟Share one thing your family can pray about together this week.

Pentecost is often called the “birthday of the Church.” 🔥

This Sunday, the Church celebrates Pentecost - the day the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples and filled them with courage to go out and share the Gospel.

In this Sunday’s Gospel, the disciples are gathered together in fear when Jesus appears and says:

“Peace be with you.”
(Bible John 20:21)

Then Jesus breathes on them and says:

“Receive the Holy Spirit.”

The same disciples who were afraid became courageous witnesses through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus still brings peace, courage, and new life to His people today. ✨

🌟After Mass, ask your family: “Where do we most need Jesus’ peace right now?”
