Our Ladies Bible Study is continuing our study of Mary & Martha, and whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or haven’t made it yet, there’s always a seat for you. 🤍

Sunday is just the beginning. 👏

Every Wednesday night, we get the chance to go a little deeper—to open God’s Word, ask questions, build real relationships, and learn what it looks like to actually live out our faith Monday through Saturday. ❤️

There’s something for the whole family—adults, teens, and kids—because discipleship isn’t just for one age or one season of life. We’re raising up families who know Jesus, know His Word, and follow Him together.

📖 SERMON RECAP | TRUTH & LOVE

This Sunday, Pastor Ryan took us into 2 John 1–3 & 10–13, reminding us that as followers of Jesus, truth and love were never meant to be separated.

❤️ You cannot separate truth and love.

Our culture often treats love as simply agreeing, accepting, or avoiding difficult conversations. But biblical love is rooted in something much stronger: truth.

Real love doesn’t abandon truth to make someone comfortable. And truth isn’t meant to be wielded without love. As followers of Christ, we’re called to hold tightly to both.

Jesus isn’t asking us to create our own version of truth or decide what feels right to us. We look to God and His Word as our foundation.

Truth without love can become harsh. Love without truth can become empty. But in Christ, we are called to both.

💚 KIDZ CHURCH RECAP! 💚

Today in Kidz Church, we learned a BIG truth that every kid needs to know:

✨ I AM FORGIVEN — GOD CAN FORGIVE ME! ✨

We learned about the man who was brought to Jesus by his friends in Mark 2:1–12 and Luke 5:17–26. Everyone could see that the man needed to be healed—but Jesus knew his greatest need went even deeper. ❤️

Before Jesus healed the man’s body, He told him that his sins were forgiven! 🙌

Our kids learned that we all make wrong choices and sin, but because of Jesus, we can come to God and receive His forgiveness. We don’t have to hide our mistakes or wonder if we’ve messed up too badly. Jesus came to forgive and save us!

Parents, take a few minutes this week to ask your kids what they remember about the man whose friends lowered him through the roof to see Jesus. You might be surprised by how much they have to tell you! 😊

☀️ SUNDAY IS ALMOST HERE — AND THERE’S A PLACE FOR YOU. ❤️

Maybe it’s been a great week. Maybe it’s been exhausting. Maybe you’re walking into Sunday full of faith… or maybe you just need a place to come and breathe.

Come anyway. Come as you are. 🤍

Tomorrow morning, we’ll gather as a church family to worship Jesus, open God’s Word, encourage one another, and remember that we were never meant to do life alone.

🎃 TRUNK OR TREAT IS COMING! 🍬🚗

We’re getting excited for our River Valley Church Trunk or Treat at the end of this month, and we need your help to make it a fun night for our community!

There are two big ways you can be part of it:

🍭 Bring candy donations!
We’ll need LOTS of candy to help keep every trunk stocked throughout the evening. You can bring candy to church and drop it off in the donation bin.

🚙 Decorate a vehicle!
Want to get creative? Sign up to decorate your trunk, pass out candy, and help make the night extra fun for the families who come through!

Whether you donate candy, decorate a vehicle, or do both, every bit helps us create a welcoming, joy-filled evening for our community. ❤️

Start planning those trunks, grab an extra bag of candy on your next shopping trip, and help us make this year’s Trunk or Treat a great one!

🏓 YOUNG ADULTS — LET’S PLAY! 🎉

Our new RVC Young Adults Ministry is getting together again, and this time we’re hitting the pickleball courts! 🙌

Whether you’re already a pickleball pro or you have absolutely no idea what you’re doing (which honestly might make it more fun 😂), come hang out with us for an evening of pickleball, laughs, and community!

Wednesday Night Discipleship is a chance to step away from the busyness of the week, open God’s Word, ask questions, build real relationships, and grow together as followers of Jesus.

And there’s a place for the whole family! 🙌

Adults, teens, and kids each have a space designed to help them learn, connect, and take another step in their faith.

You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to know all the answers. Just come ready to grow. ❤️
