🥧🎉 VBS Closing Night! 🎉🥧

What a fun way to wrap up an incredible week of VBS! Our kids had the chance to “Pie the Pastors” if they could say the theme verse from memory—and they definitely rose to the challenge! 😆🙌

The laughter was loud, the whipped cream was flying, and the smiles were unforgettable as kids proudly shared God’s Word and celebrated all they learned this week. We are so proud of every child who hid Scripture in their heart! ❤️📖

🌸📖 Ladies Bible Study Reminder 📖🌸

Just a quick reminder that Ladies Bible Study will NOT be meeting this Sunday, June 21st as we take time to celebrate and honor the fathers and father figures in our lives on Father’s Day! 💙

Enjoy the day with your family, make some memories, and take time to thank God for the men who have loved, led, encouraged, and invested in us through the years.

We will pick back up with our study of Esther on Sunday, June 28th, where we’ll dive into Chapter 5 together. If you’d like, use the extra week to read ahead, review your notes, and spend some time reflecting on what we’ve already learned from Esther’s courageous faith and God’s providential hand at work. ❤️

🌟🎉 Wednesday Night Update! 🎉🌟

Just a reminder that Youth Group and all Wednesday Night Discipleship Groups will NOT be meeting this week as we wrap up our final night of VBS!

Instead, we’ll be spending the evening celebrating all that God has done through Vacation Bible School and investing in the lives of the children and families who are joining us. We would love for you to be praying with us for every child who has attended this week—that seeds of faith would take root and grow for years to come.

If you’re serving at VBS, thank you for your time, energy, and heart for the next generation. If you’re not serving, we’d love for you to join us in prayer as we finish the week strong!

We look forward to seeing everyone back together this Sunday morning as we gather to worship, grow in God’s Word, and celebrate His faithfulness.

This Sunday, Pastor Ryan brought our journey through Ephesians to a close as we studied Paul’s final words in 6:21-24.

This passage exhorts us to be faithful in any and every capacity of our Christian lives. No matter what we are called to do, we’re reminded that there are no insignificant tasks in the Kingdom of God. Whether our role seems large or small, public or behind the scenes - Every act of obedience, every opportunity to serve, every word of encouragement, and every step of faith matters to Him.

Lastly, we were given an emotional call to Deliver The Message. We have been given the best life-changing news any one can hear!

The risk is too high.
Life is too short.

The wait is over—Vacation Bible School begins TONIGHT at RVC! We are so excited to welcome kids for three fun-filled evenings of Bible lessons, worship, games, crafts, snacks, and unforgettable memories as we learn more about God’s amazing love together!

❤️ What Kind of Legacy Are We Leaving? ❤️

There’s something powerful about this moment…A circle of men praying. Arms linked. Heads bowed. Seeking the Lord together.

And then there’s the little boy standing in the middle.

Watching.
Learning.
Following.

Long before our children listen to our words, they are watching our lives. They are paying attention to what matters to us, where we spend our time, what we prioritize, and Who we turn to when life gets hard. The next generation is yearning for something worth following.

The question isn’t whether we’re leaving a legacy—we all are. The question is: What kind of legacy are we leaving?

Will our children remember seeing us pray?
Will they remember seeing us worship?
Will they remember seeing us serve?
Will they remember seeing us open God’s Word?
Will they know that Jesus was more than a Sunday activity—that He was the center of our lives?

One day, our children will walk in the footsteps we’ve left behind. May those footprints lead them straight to Jesus.

“One generation shall commend Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.” — Psalm 145:4

Life gets busy.

The calendar fills up. Responsibilities pile on. Before we know it, another week has passed, and we’ve given our attention to everything except the One who deserves it most.

Can we encourage you this week?

Make time for God’s Word. Open your Bible. Read a chapter. Meditate on a verse. Spend a few quiet moments with the Lord. You don’t have to be a Bible scholar to grow—you just have to be willing to take the next step.

And when Sunday comes, make gathering with God’s people a priority!

There is something special about worshiping together, praying together, hearing God’s Word preached, and being encouraged by fellow believers. It’s also commanded in scripture! Church isn’t just another event on the calendar—it’s where we are strengthened, challenged, and reminded that we were never meant to walk this faith journey alone.

We are counting down the days until Illumination Station VBS—and we can’t wait to spend three exciting evenings helping kids discover who Jesus really is!

Through fun games, engaging Bible lessons, music, crafts, and memorable activities, kids will learn how to shine the light of Jesus in a world that desperately needs Him!

👑📖 Ladies Bible Study Recap 📖👑

This week, we walked through Esther Chapter 2 verse by verse, taking time to slow down and truly dig into God’s Word. Together, we explored the historical context, studied supporting Scriptures, unpacked the meanings of names and key words, and discovered how the details of the text reveal God’s faithfulness—even when His name isn’t mentioned.

One of the most encouraging parts of our study has been learning that Bible study doesn’t have to be intimidating. When we take the time to ask questions, seek understanding, and study Scripture in context, God’s Word comes alive in powerful ways.

💜 Maybe you’ve wanted to study the Bible more deeply but weren’t sure where to start.
💜 Maybe you’ve felt overwhelmed trying to understand Scripture on your own.
💜 Maybe you’re simply looking for a group of women who will encourage you in your walk with Jesus.

If that’s you, we’d love for you to join us! You don’t have to be a Bible expert. You don’t need to have all the answers. Just come with a willing heart and a desire to learn.

After enjoying a little spring break during the month of May, we’re excited to announce that our Wednesday Night Discipleship Groups are back this week!

Join us this Wednesday at 6:30 PM at the Convention Center as we gather once again to grow in God’s Word, strengthen our faith, and encourage one another in community.

🙌 Adults, Kids, and Teens all have a place to connect, learn, and grow!
