“Where are you?”

When Adam and Eve sinned, they were ashamed, and they hid from God, not knowing how foolish that was.

So God called out to them: “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:9)

He didn’t ask because He couldn’t find them. You can’t hide from the Almighty.

He asked because this is what God always does. He calls sinners to come out of hiding, to confess their sin and come back to Him.

The good news is that God is still seeking sinners today.

Stop hiding.
He sees you already.
Come home.
