Dear Stake Members,

We are excited to invite you to attend stake conference being held at the Longview Stake Center on Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Elder Gary B. Sabin of the Seventy has been assigned to preside. Elder Sabin will be accompanied by Elder Douglas A Rozsa, also of the Seventy. We will be blessed to hear and feel the spirit as participants teach and share their love for and testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We invite you to prayerfully read and ponder President Russell M. Nelson’s Oct. 2022, Sunday morning General Conference talk, “Overcome the World and Find Rest,” and Elder David A. Bednar’s Oct. 2022 Sunday Morning talk, “Put on Thy Strength, Oh Zion” in preparation for stake conference.

All sessions will be held live at the stake center. If you feel that due to health or mobility issues it will not be possible to attend live, your bishop will have a link that will enable you to attend the adult session and Sunday General Session virtually.

Please prayerfully consider and invite friends and family to attend with you. Also, share this invitation with those to whom you minister. Spanish and American Sign Language interpretation will be provided at the adult session (Saturday) and at the general session (Sunday).

Below is an outline of the dates, times, sessions, and participants for each session of stake conference.

Saturday, March 25, 2023

• Leadership Session (4:00 PM - 5:45 PM): All members of ward/branch and stake council, including counselors and secretaries should attend. Please study chapter 1 of the General Handbook in preparation for this meeting.

• Adult Session (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM): All adults ages 18 and up should attend.

• General Session (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM): All are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Brother Freeman is HOME!!! There is a long road to recovery still ahead, but he's home. ❤️

Brother Freeman has been improving steadily. He was up walking a little bit yesterday and today. He was moved out of ICU today and is learning how to stand up and sit down! Thank you for your prayers and love. What an awesome Christmas gift. ❤️

Today was surgery day for Brother Freeman here is the update:

Surgery is done. No problems!!! 3 bypasses. Found a good vein to use.

ICU is full so they are keeping him in Operating Room. Doctor says it's as good or even better than ICU because the team focuses just on him. They will take out the air tube when he's ready. Doctor will stay with him. No problems with blood. Doctor says it all went well!!! Such a relief!

Miracles are real. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
