Satan does not have a shred of authority left on this earth. His only hope is that you never find out.

Adam had authority. Genesis 1:28 records God giving man dominion over every living thing on the earth. That was not a suggestion. It was a legal transfer of governance, and Adam was the one holding the title.

Adam gave it away. Not by force. Genesis 3 shows him handing it over with a bite. Whoever you yield yourself to obey, Romans 6:16 says, you become that one's servant. Adam yielded, and the deed changed hands.

Jesus took it back. Colossians 2:15 says He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, triumphing over them at the cross. Then Matthew 28:18 records Him saying, after the resurrection, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Notice the word given. He did not seize it back by force. The Father handed it to Him, legally, permanently, the moment He walked out of that grave.

And then Jesus did something the devil never expected.

He re-gifted it. Luke 10:19 says, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy." The Greek word for authority is exousia, delegated legal power. Jesus did not just win the case. He handed the verdict to us.

Here is what that means for the enemy. His authority was permanently removed the moment Jesus walked out of that grave. He has none of his own left to operate with. The only authority he can touch on this earth now is authority a believer does not know they are carrying.

That is why he does not attack your salvation. He attacks your awareness. He is not trying to convince you Jesus did not win. He already lost that argument at the cross. He is trying to convince you that the win has nothing to do with you, that authority is something reserved for apostles and five-fold ministers, not for the person reading this post on their lunch break.

Every day you do not know what you are carrying is a day he gets to operate like he still owns the deed.

He is squatting on ground that already belongs to you. Evict him.
