A Word from the Lord
Whatever I Have for You, I Will Bring
There is a discontent that tries to come, It tries to come to everyone.
At some point in life, it will come,
And it will say to you,
"Oh, it's not all done,
You have something else that you need to do.
You have something else that you need to say," But I haven't sent that thought on its way.
No, I lead by peace, I lead by peace, not by regret. Understand and don't fret.
Don't worry about anything in life,
For I am here with you. I will keep you from strife
And striving and striving and striving some more. When those things knock at the door
Say, "Go away and don't come back another day
Because I'm going to say what I'm saying now.
I don't strive, I don't compete, I don't fret, and I don't grieve, For no loss or guilt has any power over me Or all that the Lord has given.
No, for I've been forgiven, I've been forgiven."
The Lord stands at the door,
And He knocks and He says,
"Come on into all that I have prepared for you, My son, My daughter, and know it's true, know it's true, know it's true, for you don't come behind in anything. Whatever I have for you I will bring, and it will come. You will know that just in that right time, in that right moment, you will know what to do."
