In the early 1900's Catawissa lacked a Protestant Church of any denomination. In addition there were not enough members of the community belonging to any particular denomination to support the opening of a church. To address this situation, the Protestant members of the community got together and organized a church where they could all worship together. This was Catawissa Union Church. Almost 100

years later we still maintain this interdenominational identity and mission of being a community open to all. We are currently served by Pastor Andre d’Arden.

It's that time of year again. Our annual Ice Cream Social has been scheduled for July 18th (note date change). A barbecue beef sandwich, chips, dessert and all the homemade ice cream you can eat will be provided. Five delicious flavors will be available to choose from, or you may sample them all.
