Shelter & Resource Center Who is FirstPres? We are people that love the Word of God.

We are a mid-sized faith community filled with people who are growing in their understanding of God and who are eager to welcome you wherever you are on your faith journey. We’re serious about the safety of our children and their Christian education. We have an active Children’s Ministry focusing on justice and offer engaging teaching and activities every Sunday with special events throughout the

year. We have Junior and Senior High gatherings offered Sundays and midweek along with monthly special events, summer camp, etc. As you join us for worship you’ll notice that the Word is central throughout our gatherings. From our Bible-centered preaching, to singing scripture-based hymns or theologically grounded songs from today, we desire to know more of God through His Word and to apply its powerful truth to our everyday lives. We would love for you to join us as we all seek together to know and love God more. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance to you or answer any questions you may have. Another year of hiking together, this time with scavenger hunt missions and prizes! Prizes were celebrated, roly poly bugs were found, many of us made it farther than ever, our pastor carried her napping child back to the car yet again. In this community, we find it easy to marvel at the evidence of our Creator in creation, and we know the journey is best made together.
