If you are looking for a fun evening that the whole family will enjoy, then Pops and Praise is an event you won’t want to miss. The Redwood Choir and Orchestra team will be performing songs we have done during the year and many new ones everyone will enjoy.

Some of the highlights will include, Highlights from Frozen, Louis Armstrong, and Frank Sinatra, as well as some special songs with our guest artists, The Sparks Sisters.

This will be our 4th Pops and Praise Concert and one guaranteed to be a super fun event; one that you can invite anyone to come and enjoy!!!

You’ve heard of pink eye… but Jesus diagnoses something even deeper: plank eye.

In Matthew 7, Jesus asks, “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”

Plank eye shows up when we are quicker to notice someone else’s sin than our own. Which of the “Signs of Plank Eye” stood out to you most personally and why?

Which of the practical applications for engaging others was most helpful to you? How could you put that into practice this week?

Before we diagnose someone else, may we ask Jesus to treat what’s in us first.

“Do you believe that I am able to do this?” -Matthew 9:28

It’s possible to be near Jesus, know the language of faith, and still struggle to trust Him with the things that feel too big, too broken, or too far gone.

So what is your “this”?

The situation you’ve been carrying.
The prayer you’ve almost stopped praying.
The place where you’ve quietly wondered if anything can really change.

Jesus has authority over sin, death, sickness, fear, addiction, relationships, and every circumstance we face. His ability is not limited by our weakness.

May our response be simple and surrendered:

“Yes, Lord.”

Last week we celebrated that “It is finished.”
This week we’re reminded… it’s just begun.

When Jesus finished the work on the cross, it wasn’t the end of the story. It was the beginning of a new life in us.

So the question becomes:
What do we do now?

In Acts 2, the response is clear:
✨ Turn (repent)
✨ Identify
✨ Receive
✨ Change

What step is God inviting you to take next?
