At Emmanuel, our ministry is faithful: in its proclamation of the Word of God, in its adherence to the tradition of the Church within the Lutheran witness and in its service to the sick, the dying, the grieving and those in need. We provide Christian Education for all ages through our Sunday School and Vacation Bible School to children in the community. We host Lenten worship and lunches with part

icipation from our neighbors Castle Shannon, First Presbyterian, St. Winfred's. We also provide a place for the Castle Shannon Area Meals-On-Wheels, the SeeSaw Center- an early-childhood play center, and Castle Shannon Revitalization Corporation's POEMS (Project Outreach Equipment & Medical Supplies)- an outreach program providing medical equipment at no cost to those in need, Pittsburgh Russian Baptist congregation, and Providence Church of Pittsburgh, and the South Hills Players.
