It’s been an emotional week at Barn Church!

Maddie is off to complete her internship in Spain for human tracking, we are so proud of her! And Chase broke his femur playing football while Rebekah was gone seeing Maddie off. ✈️

We would appreciate prayers for the Williams family; specifically for Maddie’s safety and that God can do good work through her. Also for a speedy recovery for Chase!

Thank you to those who have stepped in and helped the Williams family out this past week and for all of the prayers for their family. They lead with such servant hearts and love our church so well, they deserve all the support during what has been a trying week for them.

We love you Williams family! 🫶🏼

These two girls, Sarah & Allie, have such a special bond as God brought them together in a distinct time in their lives. These ladies have such a joy for the Lord and for serving our church and we are so blessed to have them! 🫶🏼

Mark 9:1-8, known as the Transfiguration of Jesus, describes Jesus being transformed into a dazzling, white figure before his disciples Peter, James, and John on a mountain. Moses and Elijah appear and speak with him, after which a voice from a cloud declares Jesus to be God’s beloved Son and commands the disciples to listen to him. The event affirms Jesus’ divine nature and his connection to the Law (Moses) and the Prophets (Elijah).

Special Guest Speaker: Arick Graham.

Mark 7:1-13 describes a conflict between Jesus and the Pharisees regarding religious traditions. The Pharisees criticize Jesus’ disciples for not ritually washing their hands before meals, a tradition they considered important. Jesus, in turn, criticizes the Pharisees for prioritizing human traditions over God’s commandments, particularly the commandment to honor one’s parents. He points out that their tradition of “corban” (vowing something to God) could be used to avoid supporting their parents, effectively nullifying the commandment to honor them.

Maddie and Taylor had the opportunity to go on a Missions Trip to Mesquital, Mexico over holy week to run a VBS for kids and a women’s ministry with the local churches.

They loved building relationships with the people down there and sharing the love of Jesus as they used their gifts to serve!

We are proud of these girls; they have such a heart for the Lord and serving others. They are kingdom builders!
