Who We Are

***COVID Update*** Currently NOT meeting in person. Jakob focuses on various creative activities such as skateboarding, playing drums, piano, and guitar, writing songs and other cool stuff, painting, drawing, and design. Due to the current circumstances with COVID 19, we are not meeting in person. We provide focused individual instruction, group lessons, as well as open play/jam sessio

ns. Jakob strongly encourages learning from each other, while building strong community with lasting friendships. We will soon add martial arts, dancing, snowboarding, more musical instruments, and other fun activities as funds and attendance permit. We provide lunch everyday at no charge. Jakob is a nonprofit outreach funded by donations and various business activities. We are a church, yet want our services to be open to everyone. For this, we do not incorporate religious activities during our daytime instruction. Only learning cool stuff and hanging out in a safe and fun environment. We have an informal coffee house service at 6p bringing it all together in worship/art share/teaching environment and invite anyone to come be a part.

This verse is amazing. It reminds me that I am chosen by the LORD. In an adoption, the child doesn’t choose his parents, the parents choose their child. This is why Paul uses this analogy in Romans 8. Roman adoption was permanent, binding. It was a means for wealthy Roman citizens who didn’t have their own child or a suitable child to pass their inheritance on to. A Roman adoption could even consist of an elder adoption a younger adult who was a suitable heir to take on the family name and estate. When this occurred, the adopted Roman would now bare a new name and identity and legally be entitled to all of what a blood child would.

This is what God the Father does to us, he adopts us into His family to give us full legal rights to the inheritance of Heaven. We in Christ are now HEIRS of God. He chose us! He lavishly bestows His inheritance to us. We have the keys to the Kingdom, by His grace. And if this amazing gift is simply that, a gift. Something we did not earn. Do you think there’s anything we can do to lose it?

Be confident in your identity in Christ. receive the inheritance that is rightfully and legally yours. Be filled with JOY in knowing that in Christ, you are a royal heir to the heavenly inheritance of the LORD God Almighty. He chose you as a suitable heir to the limitless riches of Heaven. You are a child of God.
