Surrender is not just a heart posture, but it's our active participation in our submission to God through our actions. As we submit ourselves to the Lord and renew our minds through His Word daily, He begins to supernaturally quench the desires of the flesh and give us a new heart with His desires. Sin dies in the place of surrender. It's not by our own might or our own strength, but by His Spirit we are able to walk out the Christian life in obedience to God's word.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” - James 4:7

Good intentions don’t build character, but consistent choices do. Every decision, big or small, shapes who you’re becoming.

If you want a different life, make different choices today.

Start by changing one daily habit...
Say no where you’ve been saying yes.
Create a boundary where you’ve avoided one.

Then watch how your direction begins to shift.

When you avoid things, nothing gets resolved.

Avoidance feels easier in the moment, but it always comes with a price.

When you delay the conversation, resentment builds.

When you ignore the warning signs, dysfunction grows.

When you push pain down, it resurfaces stronger.

What you avoid doesn’t disappear. It waits.
And it usually gets louder.

Facing it might be uncomfortable, but staying stuck?
That’s far more painful in the long run.
