Our groups are called LOGOS Groups because we use the LOGOS study method. It’s an interactive, deductive way of studying God’s word together that teaches us to hear Jesus’ voice through the Scriptures and obey him with practical steps every week.

Not every urge to leave is God leading you.
Sometimes the place you’re in isn’t dangerous, it’s just uncomfortable. And when discontentment starts talking, somewhere else can suddenly look like the answer. A different job. A different church. A different city. A different relationship. But if the restlessness is coming from inside you, changing the destination won’t necessarily change the problem.

Acts 27 gives us a picture of people who wanted to move because another harbor looked better. Paul warned them that the season mattered more than the opportunity. That’s a question worth asking before any major move: Am I being led by God, or am I trying to escape how I feel right now?

Frustration is a terrible compass. Let prayer, wisdom, and obedience determine your direction instead.

If you’re looking for a church family that will help you grow in discernment and follow Jesus faithfully, join us this Sunday at 10AM at Rivers Church.

When life gets hard, don’t be too quick to jump ship.
Sometimes leaving feels like the easiest way to protect yourself. But “jumping ship” is more than stepping away from a difficult situation. It can mean abandoning the very people who need you.
Before you walk away, ask the Lord what obedience looks like in this situation. Are you being released, or are you simply trying to escape the pressure? There are moments when God calls us to stay, to serve, to endure, and to help carry the people He has placed in our lives. Your presence may matter more than you realize.
Looking for a church family that will help you grow in faith, commitment, and biblical community? Join us this Sunday at 10AM at Rivers Church.

What if the belief you defend the hardest is the one God wants to examine?
You can be deeply convicted and still be wrong. That is why humility matters so much in the Christian life.

The beliefs that make us defensive, reactive, or angry when challenged may be the very places that need to be brought back before the Lord. God exposes what is wrong because He loves us enough to lead us somewhere better.

Real repentance does more than change your opinion. It changes your direction.

Fighting God’s correction will only wear you down, but surrender opens the door to growth. Strong faith is not afraid to pray, “Lord, show me where I’m wrong.” Open the Bible. Invite wise people to challenge you. Let truth be tested. If it is truly from God, it will stand.

If you’re looking for a church that will challenge you to grow in truth, humility, and obedience to Jesus, join us this Sunday at 10AM at Rivers Church.

Today our church came together at Castle Rock for a Day of Prayer, and it was such a beautiful reminder of what we’re called to be.

‘Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.’ — Matthew 5:16

We are grateful for a community that comes together in prayer for our city.

Our worship and prayer for our city doesn’t end today — come and join us tomorrow at service, 10 AM.

There is a greater storm every one of us deserved to face: the judgment of God for our sin. But Jesus stepped into that storm for us. He took the weight that belonged to us, bore our sin on the cross, and went down into death so that we could come out alive on the other side. That is the Gospel.

Salvation is the greatest deliverance you will ever receive.

So if Jesus has already carried you through the greatest storm, can He not carry you through the one you are facing now? You may feel overwhelmed, tired, or out of answers, but you are more secure than you realize. The cross has already proven His love. The resurrection has already proven His power.

When all hope is gone, believe. 👏

If you need a church family that will help you keep your eyes on Jesus, join us this Sunday at 10AM at Rivers Church.
