This is an incredible true story. The heartache of the struggle is simply but powerfully written. Van Fleet shares his journey to free himself of demons. Even the most sensitive issues are tactfully written making this a great book for schools. Photos show different periods of his life. I strongly recommend this book. This is a great read and would be excellent book club choice. Few memoirs I have read are as powerful as this one.

The years are flying by for all of us, so it is so important to get with as many as you can who you love appreciate and honor as often as you can.
