Alleluia, Christ is Risen! ✨🕊️

Thank you to everyone who made this Holy Week possible. It truly takes a village to make this journey together, and I am endlessly grateful for all of your support in my first year with you. From saying "yes" to reading, to ensuring folks had rides to church on this rainy Easter morning, to the beautiful music, printed bulletins, setting up the altar, and making food to share—thank you!

I also want to thank our wonderful neighbors for collaborating with us, including Trinitarian Congregational Parish of Castine, St Francis by the Sea Episcopal CH, and St. Brendan the Navigator Episcopal Church, Deer Isle, Maine.

And a special shoutout to Auxford - The Market, The Kitchen - Castine, ME & Ebee's Sweets for keeping me fed and caffeinated this week! ☕🥐

I feel incredibly grateful to be your Rector and neighbor.

Easter Blessings!

What a great article on our beloved Bishop Brown & how faith & food go hand in hand. We'll have the wonderful opportunity to welcome him to Trinity and break bread together on Sunday, May 31st at 4pm (for our celebration of new ministry with Liz) & Sunday, October 25th at 9am (for our visitation).

In the meantime, join us for a meal (6:15pm), Eucharist (7pm), & Tenabrae this Thursday for Maundy Thursday with our neighbors at Trinitarian Congregational Parish of Castine & then on Easter Sunday for a festive Eucharist (9am) & a potluck brunch after the service.

Bishop Thomas Brown happily cooks and talks food, but for him, there's a spiritual component, too.

We will also be postponing our Lenten Study on Return of the Prodigal Son to sometime in Easter (likely first Sunday of May). Stay tuned, stay warm, & stay safe tomorrow!

Blessings!

Join us next Sunday for a Lenten conversation on The Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen. If you haven't started the book, don't fret! It's a fairly quick read. We hope you can join us for a time of conversation, lunch & meditations on the text.
