It is with great joy that we announce a new season for "The Reach."
Over the last decade, God has used many individuals, families, and partnering ministries to sow into the soil of this beautiful place called "Cass Lake." We believe that because of the joint effort of God's body, He will continue to use families, individuals, and partnering ministries to plant seeds, water, and harvest.
No one can claim glory for what God has done, for it has all been done for the glory of the Lord and to love people. With that being said, we are honored to pass this mandate of reaching, receiving, and releasing to another ministry that will help steward God's vision.
With joy, we announce that "The Door" and "The House" will now add "The Reach" to their ministry to expand and steward.
Kevin and Joyce Day are the founders of both "The Door" and "The House," a ministry that has proven to bear fruit, value the kingdom mandate, and a family that has lived sacrificially, working hard for the sake of the gospel. This ministry reflects a movement we see coming to our nation.
Thank you, Kevin and Joyce, for prayerfully considering this mandate, responsibility, and mission.
With new seasons come new vision, new directions, new vessels, new partnerships, and new wineskins. With this new season at The Reach, we expect nothing less. We honor the past, but as the Apostle Paul states so well, we must press forward to the prize of the high calling of Christ.
It is important and vital that we who call ourselves believers, Christians, and disciples of Jesus uplift, support, pray, and consider how we can co-labor with and under the leadership of this new ministry. Each person who has been involved with The Reach should prayerfully consider what God is saying to them and respond accordingly.
Speaking falsely or in any way that causes division or confusion is not of God. We pray you feel the conviction of the Lord and repent. It is of utmost importance that we honor those whom God has appointed, that we do not burden, make heavy, or add sorrows to this new ministry, which is here to support and uplift this community.
Our job is to love, prefer others above ourselves, willingly volunteer, have patience, be long-suffering, contribute, financially sow, and PRAY FOR those who sacrificially walk the front lines so others can live and know Christ.
As a founder of The Reach specifically, I appeal to all the saints of this city, every church, ministry, and believer, near and far, to not hinder but rather ask how you can serve. Do not succumb to the enemy's territorial plans to make us fearful and envious, but rather, support, join hands, and unify as God sends more laborers into His fields.
This is not about a singular person, movement, or church. This is not about the next ministry model, plan, or popular trend. This is not about titles, status, or members in a building. This is about God's will being done, His name being lifted high, and His prayers being prayed.
This is a vital time in our cities, reservations, and nation—a time we must be united, put aside all childish ways, talk, and behaviors, and mature. Let our name (Disciples) carry the weight of fruit, which the Bible tells us is the love we have for one another.
In closing, we bless the hands and feet that will come from the north, east, south, and west to "The Reach," those who will support, volunteer, give, and support the cause of Christ. We bless the family who will steward this mission. We speak peace, rest, and joy, that this will be a kingdom inheritance with no sorrow attached or added to it, that you will stand firm in the faith you have, not wavering in the face of enemies, but eating at the table set for you. This will be a mighty time of liberation and jubilee, and we stand in prayer for you, remembering your labor as often as we can. Thank you for your service as you enter into this new season, in Jesus' name, Amen.
Going forward, The Reach may take on different ministries and purposes, reflecting this new season of ministry. This may take some time, or it may happen soon. One thing I assure you of is this: it will be prayed over, and others will be involved. This will be a place that houses the nations.
Have patience, be prayerful, volunteer, sow, and serve with honor and dignity unto the Lord. Do not let any unwholesome words come from your mouths, lest you reap them in your own life and ministry. May we be sowers of peace and harmony.
God is merciful, and He will be merciful in this season to all.
Love your brother in Christ,
Emmanuel Sargent
