If everyone look when they go by Smith Cemetery by Bloodworth’s store and see their new sign I’m having Ellen Keene doing one for us to be put down there by the new road and gate. I will let everyone know when it’s done so I can get help putting it up. A little at a time but I’m gonna try real hard on that fence we might hold a benefit or whatever. It’s our family/community cemetery!

A checking account has been set up with regions bank in Charleston anyone wanting to make a donation can make it out to new Smith cemetery 107 smith road Cascilla 38920. Right now I’m going to try and keep the maintenance on the cemetery then hopefully through donations and etc replace the fence and a sign to indicate where we are. Thanks

I will try to keep everything updated as we go forward it been a struggle trying to research our family history maybe later on in years it will be easier on other family members trying to get information on our ancestors. Comments and suggestions anytime.
