Hi Church. For those who were at church on Sunday, you have already been told this. For those who were LIVE-streaming, you did not hear, nor did those who were neither physically worshiping with us or via LIVE stream. Here's a short version - Deb and I will go ONLINE this coming Saturday at 10:00am to explain in more detail.
When God called me to be a Pastor, He called me to open the doors of Catalyst Church - Church Planting is what it's called. This calling to be a Pastor, a Shepherd of HIS people came after being Associate Pastor at the Cowboy Church.
The Bible is clear that God gives us gifts, talents, and abilities from HIM to serve HIM and to serve HIS Church / HIS flock. I believe, and this has been affirmed by others, that God still has called me to be a Pastor. However, the season of time with Catalyst Church has come to an end for Deb and me. This also means that, since the external monies in support that come from the North American Missions Board and the Pinal County Cowboy Church (largest outside of our Body contributors / investors) is tied to my name for the church. With this, the season is complete for Catalyst Church. Pastor Steve, and LaSette, will be working for and serving with the Pinal County Cowboy Church.
Our last day for Catalyst Church is Sunday February 14, 2021 at 11:00am. We are having a very intimate service where we plan to baptize at least 1 person (hoping for more) and Pastor Steve and I will be serving communion for you. Steve and I will mask-up, glove-up, and I will personally load the elements into the trays to take all precaution for COVID. When we serve the elements to you, we will ask you cup your hands for the bread and we will drop it in your hands. Then we will hand you the cup.
Catalyst Church (you, us, HIS Body) has served together and Kingdom Built for HIS glory and honor and none of us have anything to be sorry for or ashamed of. We all serve for HIS Kingdom work!!
Please plan on joining us this Sunday and next Sunday as we celebrate our Risen Lord together. And, please join us for our final celebration together, but NOT our last as we serve HIM, on Sunday February 14, 2021. What a better time to serve and observe communion together to remember what Christ did for us than on our traditional Valentine's Day - HIS sacrifice showed HIS ultimate and eternal love for us!!!
Deb and I will continue to host the Life Group at our house on Sunday evenings starting at 5:00pm with dinner together then the study of the book of Acts. Pastor Steve, and La Sette, will do the same in Arizona City on Sunday evenings at 5:00pm..
We love you all. "I" love you all and it has been an honor to serve as your Pastor.
