FAITH IN ACTION – An ALL AGES + Mission Event |
Wednesday, August 12 5:30pm

What does the Lord require of us? To do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God. These words in Micah 6:8 sound simple, but are packed with deep meaning and enormous challenges for us to put our faith in action and become “do-er’s” of the Word rather than just hearers only. (James 1:22)

What a marvelous opportunity we have to learn alongside our children and other generations in the church as we translate the basic teachings of Jesus. Inspired by the story, "The Good Garden" by Katie Smith Milway, (cover pictured here), we will learn that actions speak louder than words! We will be given opportunities to learn about some of the injustices that exist in our world and ways that we can make a difference in the lives of others simply by putting our FAITH IN ACTION!

A Peach of a Celebration!
Happy 20th Anniversary to the partnership of Palá, Guatemala and Kirk of Kildaire! We celebrated today with worship, music, (thank you Decatur Street Beat!), fellowship, and peach ice cream on the porch. God, you are here.
