Worship at Kirk of Kildaire tomorrow morning at 10:30am where Pastor Howard will offer the first in the sermon series 'Prayer School'.

When Jesus’ disciples asked him to teach them how to pray, he gave them-and us-specific words to say. This summer at the Kirk, we’ll be enrolling in prayer school: going line by line through the prayer Jesus taught us to pray.

Are you loving the energy and renewal for children and young families at the Kirk of Kildaire? Vacation Bible School is a big part of inviting young children and families into the life of the church. You can be a big help to the VBS Team by giving us a couple of hours right after church on our Organizing Day, Sunday, June 7. You do not need to be a VBS volunteer; we need help for organizing materials, sorting supplies, and various tiny tasks.

All adults are encouraged to help the exciting growth of our church in this easy way! Let Jenni Whitford know if you can help this Sunday. ([email protected])

The Kirk of Kildaire is pleased to introduce Kim Graham as Business and Finance Manager. Kim joins the staff with a wealth of knowledge and experiences. She is in the office Monday through Friday and welcomes the opportunity to meet the Kirk family. Welcome Kim! We are so happy to have you!

Plan to stay for refreshments on the porch this Sunday after worship. We will celebrate our Finance Manager, Ellen Chambers. Ellen will be retiring the end of this month after 8 years of incredible service at the Kirk. Please come and wish her well!
Worship begins at 10:30am. All are welcome.

(In lieu of gifts, Ellen has requested that any donations be made to the Kirk Food Pantry.)

The Kirk of Kildaire is overjoyed to welcome the Confirmation Class of 2026 into full membership. Youth Sunday was celebrated in worship yesterday, May 3. Thank you to to all who led worship and inspired our own faith journeys!

Many thanks to the amazing volunteers who had the opportunity to glean lots of heads of fresh lettuce from a local farmer with the Society of Saint Andrew. Our Kirk Food Pantry is now able to give away even more fresh produce to shoppers.

It is inspiring to think of the generosity of our local farm community, the deep partnerships we rely on, the quick response of willing volunteers, and the shared hope found in communion with our community.

Everyone is welcome for our Spring Garden Kick Off in the Kirk of Kildaire Community Garden this Saturday April 18 starting at 9:00am. All ages are welcome! It will be a wonderful way to honor God's creation for Earth Day!

What could be more fun than bagpipes and bassoon?

The Kirk of Kildaire CONCERTS FOR A CAUSE presents Dick Hensold & Rosalind Buda – Thursday, April 16, 7:00 pm in the Kirk of Kildaire Sanctuary.

Admission is free, but please donate generously to the cause, building a primary school to serve over 50 students in grades 1-4 in Ambararata, Madagascar.

Musicians Rosalind Buda and Dick Hensold perform a rollicking blend of traditional Celtic tunes and other music–all delivered with technical flair and joyful ease. Enjoy duets for smallpipes, songs with whistles, dance tunes on Scottish Border pipes and bombard, and the wonderful pairing of pipes and bassoon!
