Today marks 12 years of gathering together as Woodland Community Church! Yesterday we celebrated communion, sang hymns, prayed together, and heard a sermon on Hebrews 11. We reflected on God's faithfulness in our past while looking ahead to where God is leading us in the future.

Join us tomorrow (9/12) at 10am-ish for Worship and at 5pm for an Ice Cream Social (food event!) as we celebrate 10 years of meeting as a church!

Worship inside of Woodland Terrace is open to residents and fully-vaccinated visitors. Visitors, if this is your first time back at Woodland Terrace since COVID precautions have been in place, please bring a copy of your vaccine card to show at the front desk. If you are unable to make it in person, we invite you to join us via Zoom. Get in touch with Linda, Mark, or Julie for the Zoom details.

Ice cream at the 'food event' will come in individually wrapped portions ☺️ Good weather is on the horizon for us to enjoy fellowship on the patio. We look forward to gathering together!

We miss seeing all of you in Sunday worship at Woodland Terrace! As we continue our physical distancing, we have been meeting over Zoom on Sunday mornings at the usual 10-ish to pray, sing, and hear the preaching of the Word. On Sunday afternoons, we post the recorded service to Youtube for others to watch. Please get in touch with Linda, Mark, or Julie if you want to receive the Zoom invite or Youtube link.

I'm sorry to share that Nanette Hall passed away January 8. Her service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, Saturday, January 12 at 3:00PM.

We are happy to share this Christmas greeting from the IT Academy in Ukraine that our church supports all year long! Proud of these dear young men, and thankful for the work that God is doing there! Our church members, Shelly Birdwhistell Cline and Zendi Hoots are excited to visit Ukraine in January, and spend time sharing Bible stories and English practice with our friends there!
