The Day of Pentecost
May 24, 2026 - 8:00 am

Welcome to worship at Resurrection Lutheran Church! Today, we celebrate God’s work in our lives, receiving His Word and Sacraments that strengthens our relationship with Him and one another. By the blood of Christ, we are the household of God that He builds up by grace, through faith, and for service!

Happy Pentecost Sunday! The word "Pentecost" comes from the Greek word meaning "fifty." Fifty days after Jesus rose from the dead, the Holy Spirit landed upon the disciples as flames from the heavens - just as Jesus had promised them would happen. Today we celebrate the Holy Spirit's arrival upon His people, and His ongoing work through His church. The Spirit is the One who sustains us, strengthens us, and empowers us to share the message of the Gospel to a world that needs to hear it. Once again, we can rejoice today in a God who always keeps His promises!

The Ascension of Our Lord
May 17, 2026 - 11:00 am

A warm welcome to all worshiping with Resurrection Lutheran Church today. We celebrate our Savior’s love in the faithful gathering of God’s people in His house.

The season of Easter leads us into the Book of Acts, where the work of the crucified and
risen Christ stands behind - and makes possible - the "Acts of the Apostles." Even though our world can feel far removed from the world of those first witnesses to the resurrection, the story of the early church still speaks hope to believers in every time and place who struggle to remain faithful. Again and again, Acts shows us that even when it feels like the world is pushing back against us…in Jesus Christ, we stand.
