Root Kids in a Relationship with God!

Grab your hiking boots and take a step through the misty air of Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God.

They'll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a refuge in life's storms.

Cost is $10 per participant. Payments can be made through Online Giving at rlcary.org or by cash/check to the church office.

Welcome to worship at Resurrection Lutheran Church!

Today, we celebrate God’s work in our lives, receiving His Word and Sacraments that strengthens our relationship with Him and one another. By the blood of Christ, we are the household of God that He builds up by grace, through faith, and for service!

This summer, we journey through Romans 4-8 in a series called, “Living from the Font.” Each week we return to the truth that shapes us: in Holy Baptism, God names us, claims us, and joins us to Christ’s death and resurrection. From promise to struggle, from suffering to hope, from weakness to glory, we rediscover that the baptized life is not something we achieve but a gift we receive. As God’s children — washed, forgiven, and led by the Spirit — what does living each day "from the font," look like? No matter how we may answer that question, in Christ Jesus the love of God will not let us go!

Summer Adult Bible Study Opportunity!

Our Singing Faith: God's Word in the Lutheran Service Book
Sundays, 9:30-10:30 am ~ June 7-July 5
Fellowship Hall

You're familiar with the parts of the hymnbook that we use on any garden-variety Sunday morning — but are you aware of all the hidden treasures the hymnal contains? No? Then come explore the Lutheran Service Book with us! Over the next five weeks, we will look at the LSB and how it helps shape our worship together as servants of the risen Christ!

Each Sunday morning, we will look in-depth at that week's Hymn of the Day and how it places the very words of the Bible on our lips. Also, we will take a closer look at the parts of the LSB that often go unnoticed. Led by Vicar Chris Reed.

Copies of the LSB will be provided. Please bring something for notetaking and your singing voice!

Last week, the Stewardship of Life & Health Group along with the Youth Ministry hosted a Hands-Only Adult CPR training in support of the mission to increase survival from cardiac arrest. Thanks to Avery Alladin and the American Heart Association for leading this event!

Resurrection Lutheran School

Congratulations to Principal Robin Hester on her Installation at Resurrection Lutheran School in Cary, NC, and her Commissioning as a Minister of Religion—Commissioned in the LCMS! After completing the Colloquy Program through Concordia University, St. Paul, Robin joins the Synod as a commissioned minister, reflecting her faithful commitment to Lutheran education and ministry. We give thanks for her years of service and leadership at Resurrection and pray God's continued blessings on her vocation!
