The First Congregational Church of Whitman is thrilled to celebrate the Installation of Rev. Patricia Berry. Please join us! The service of Installation is a way of affirming the movement of a Holy Spirit who participated with us in the process, and who called THIS leader to THIS place for THIS time. (This is an historical moment for us, Rev. Patricia is our First Woman as Settled Pastor in our local church's history! ) Installation confirms and celebrates the covenantal relationship among the local church, its pastor and teacher and the United Church of Christ.

Please help us continue Shane’s mission by donating to our Shane Gives Thanks holiday basket program.
Providing a full holiday meal to local families in need.. these meals include potatoes, veggies, cranberry sauce, gravy, stuffing, a turkey and more ( while supplies last)

Items needed :
Applesauce, cranberry ssuce, canned corn, canned green beans, canned carrots, canned yams, brown sugar, dried onions, cream of mushroom soup, jar or can gravy, seasoning, instant potatoes, bag or box stuffing, salt & pepper, jiffy corn bread mix, oil for cooking, cans of chicken broth

Gift card & Food Safety

We will gladly accept gift cards - those gift cards allow us to purchase in bulk for families in need. From frozen veggies, butter and milk.. items needed but rarely donated for our holiday baskets.

Rev Sheldon Keller will be preaching at the Plympton Congregational Church on Route 58 this coming Sunday October 26 and also on Sunday November 23, Thanksgiving Sunday. Their services are at 10:00 am. Great choir and super pianist! Coffee hour following service and great time for fellowship. Hope to see a lot of former United Parishioners there. All are welcome.
