What a great way to end an incredible week at Illumination Station VBS!

Tonight was Family Night, and it was such a blessing to see so many parents, grandparents, and friends come out to celebrate what God has done this week.

Over the past five nights, kids have laughed, sang, played games, made crafts, memorized God’s Word, and most importantly, heard the good news of Jesus Christ. That’s what it’s all about.

One of the highlights of the week was seeing our kids put their faith into action. They brought over $700 worth of canned food that will be used to help stock our local food boxes and bless families in our community. What a wonderful reminder that we are called to love both God and our neighbors.

Thank you to every volunteer who gave your time, loved these kids, and served with such a great attitude. You are appreciated more than you know. Thank you to every family that trusted us with your children this week.

Please continue praying that the seeds planted this week will continue to grow and that many lives will be changed because of the Gospel.
We are thankful for an incredible week, but we’re even more excited about what God is going to do next.

The faithful at Ely Baptist Church in Kennett are sending much-needed supplies to feed and clothe children in the west African country of Liberia.

KENNETT, Mo. (KFVS) - The faithful at Ely Baptist Church in Kennett are sending much-needed supplies to feed and clothe children in the west African country of Liberia.

The church is joining congregations from Missouri’s Bootheel, the Texarkana region and Decatur, Alabama to help provide meals and supplies for approximately 300 children attending a school operated by Calvary Love Ministries in Liberia.

One Heartland church is even donating a 15-passenger van filled with clothing, hand tools and donated supplies.

Jim Pilcher, pastor of the Temple Baptist Church in Caruthersville talked about the children that benefit from the donations, “They’re kind, compassionate, loving. They just want to be loved and cared for. A lot of them don’t have parents or not have a family background, and Calvary is a family.

They look out for each other. They look forward, to seeing us come. We’re able to keep in contact with them. Just again, they’re just kids that want to be loved and able to show the love of Jesus and the hope that’s in Christ.The supplies are expected to be shipped in the coming weeks.

What another great night at Illumination Station VBS!

We had an awesome Day 3 as kids laughed, sang, danced, and learned about the love of Jesus. It’s been exciting to watch God work in the lives of these children all week.

A big thank you to everyone who has volunteered, served, prayed, and helped make this week possible. We couldn’t do it without you!

Tomorrow is day 4 , and there’s still time to come! If your child hasn’t been yet, we’d love to have them join us from 6:00–8:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church, 1200 Truman Blvd., Caruthersville.

Last night was an incredible start with over 50 kids laughing, learning, singing, dancing, and hearing about the love of Jesus!

If you missed the first night, don’t worry—you haven’t missed your chance! We’d love to have your kids, grandkids, neighbors, and friends join us tonight from 6:00–8:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church, 1200 Truman Blvd., Caruthersville.

It’s going to be another fun-filled evening with exciting music, games, Bible lessons, and lots of smiles—all centered on Jesus.

What a great first night at Illumination Station VBS at Temple Baptist Church!

We had over 50 kids laughing, learning, singing, and dancing as they heard about the love of Jesus. What an incredible way to kick off an exciting week!

Life has a way of leaving us hurt. Maybe someone has disappointed you, betrayed you, or said something that's been hard to let go of. Maybe you're discouraged, questioning God, or you've just been carrying a burden for far too long.

his morning we're going to talk about something we all need: grace. Not just the grace that forgives us, but the grace that frees us to let go of the hurts we've been carrying.
