Today, we celebrate the sacrifice that Christ made for us.

What looked like the end… was only the beginning.

Death was not the final word.
When He got up, He secured the victory—for us all.

Because He lives, we have hope.
Because He lives, we have victory.

We were honored to host Solid Rock and EMS here at Synagogue of Christ for a timely and impactful word from Pastor Daphney Hines: “Beware of the Time.”

We were reminded that everything around us is temporary…
but the Word of God will always stand.

In a time where distractions are everywhere, the message challenged us to be intentional about what we’re allowing in our hearts and minds.

Because what’s in your heart is what you’ll follow.

We were encouraged to:
• Get in the Word for ourselves so we can stand on it
• Be mindful of what we’re listening to, watching, and taking in
• Guard our hearts, knowing that what we carry will shape how we live

We were also warned about false teachers and false prophets—those who speak from their own desires instead of the truth of God’s Word. It’s important now more than ever to stay rooted in truth… not emotion, not opinion, but the Word of God.

When you’re truly wrapped up in Jesus, you don’t have to be moved by what’s happening in the world.
God will lead you, cover you, and keep you grounded.

And when you trust Him, you don’t have to worry about tomorrow.

Let this be your reminder this week:
Stay aware. Stay rooted. Stay in His Word.

We gathered for another virtual Sunday School with our Mount Moriah Holiness Church family today. We dove into a powerful lesson on Solomon’s dedication of the temple (1 Kings 8).

We discussed faith, prayer, teaching the next generation, and the importance of reverence—remembering that while God isn’t contained by buildings, our worship still requires humility and sincerity.

Prayer is continual.
Faith is planted.
And covenant calls for commitment.

Grateful for fellowship, learning, and unity—even online. 🤍

2025 came with challenges and transitions, but God has carried us through. We remain grateful for his faithfulness and look ahead with expectation for all that He has in store in this new year.
