“Don't allow the opinions of other people to shape your concept of God. Get to know him yourself, and let the goodness of God change you from the inside out.” Judah Smith

"God knows what each one of us is dealing with. He knows our pressures. He knows our conflicts. And He has made a provision for each and every one of them. That provision is Himself in the person of the Holy Spirit, indwelling us and empowering us to respond rightly." (Kay Arthur)

"Sadly, we sometimes want to study the Bible and learn untold amounts of minute details about the Scriptures rather than applying the truth we learned in the Scriptures. Christian life is not a subject to be learned but a life to be lived!" Bob George

'Love is the doorway through which the human soul passes from selfishness to service.' (Jack Hyles) “The overriding character trait of Jesus is love, and the entire Gospel story is woven with love. Sometimes it’s not easy, and oftentimes it requires sacrifice, but it’s when we love that we are the most like Jesus.” (Steven Furtick)

“Our fear of failure can be detrimental to really living life. There is always risk in living, but that risk is safer and more productive than the alternative. The children of Israel would not fight Goliath because they were more interested in not dying than in living.” (Unknown)

“Two types of voices command your attention today. Negative ones fill your mind with doubt, bitterness, and fear. Positive ones purvey hope and strength. Which one will you choose to heed? You have a choice, you know.” (Max Lucado) “We take every thought captive so that it is obedient to Christ.” (2 Cor 10:5)

“Linger too long in the stench of your hurt, and you’ll smell like the toxin you despise.” (Max Lucado) If you have been hurt deeply by someone, this statement may seem unfair. But consider this, we often render ourselves more pain by dwelling on the offence and the offender than the act itself. One of the main meanings of the word forgive is to send away. When we send it away, we are not allowing it to continue to cause us pain. When we forgive others, it does not make what they did right, and it does not mean they will not reap in their own heart from what they did. It means that we are not going to let something, or someone’s wrong action control our lives and emotions. No, it is not always easy, but it is always necessary if you want to have quality of life. Even better news, the first step is not to be able to forgive, but to be willing to be willing to forgive. When we sincerely get to that place, God’s grace will help us with the rest.
