True success and a real legacy is your children and grandchildren choosing Jesus and having Him write their names in the book of life.
That means they are assured a spot in heaven. Only they can choose Jesus. Jesus is thee only way to heaven. Someone needs to tell them the truth. It should be you. Thats your job.
In the Bible, Jesus was telling the disciples that he will be leaving soon, and they were asking, where are you going, how do you get there. Can we go too? And Jesus answers them in ......John 14:5-6... "5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Jesus is thee only way to heaven. Not works, not being good, not giving, more good check marks than bad dont get you there. The bible states this over and over. It is your belief and faith in Jesus that gets you to heaven. Period.
Jesus plus nothing.
Jesus either means it, or he is a liar.
You can call Jesus a liar if you want, but as for me and my house, we will believe and serve the Lord.

Here is the last Daily Bible study for the month, Saturday, October 31, All Hallows Eve! That means tomorrow is All Hallows Day aka All Saints Day... a Christian Holiday that celebrates all the "Saints" or "Hallowed" Christians who did not get their own special Holy Day... or Holiday.

Anyway.. here is todays big question... the last big question of the month....

"How do you experience being set free from your sins through Jesus".

Lets open our bibles to.....

ACTS 13:39, "Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses."

Paul is speaking in a synagogue to Jews and gentiles. He is teaching them about Jesus.
He is saying under the laws of Moses there would be animal sacrifices for sins... they had to be repeated... they felt incomplete and the folks were left with guilt and shame that would just grow with additional sins followed by more sacrifices.
Paul says, when you believe in Jesus, you are set free from the sin, justified, your debt is paid, Jesus is your sacrifice.
We turn from sin because we love him. We believe and trust his ways are better. ... and he accepts us, loves us... holds us close... he gives us the holy spirit to walk with us, to clean us from the inside out.

SHOULD WE HAVE HAD A PUMPKIN PARTY? SHOULD WE TRICK OR TREAT...? SHOULD WE CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN OR EVEN HAVE FALL FESTIVALS...? ISNT IT ALL EVIL AND DEMONIC...?
These are the questions I get every year.
I always say education is important. Intent is also important.
Lets look at history just for a minute...
Hallowe’en is a contraction of All Hallows Eve, and this refers to an old Christian festival known in old language as "All Hallows Day", that was also called, " All Saints day". A "hallowed" person was or is a Holy person... a solid Christian, a Saint. In the old church, there were many Saints... Some Saints were bigger than others and had their own Holidays or days of recognition. A bunch of other saints did not.
So they made November 1 All Saints day, in the old language it was "All Hallows Day".
The night before this big celebration, the Eve of All Hallows day, October 31, many folks would gather in anticipation of the big All Saints day celebrations. You can research all of this.... I still have an old encyclopedia set...lol.
They cant change that.

"The Christian All Saints day on 1st November, coupled with All Souls Day on the day after, goes back to the 8th Century when it was celebrated on these dates in England and Germany. This date was officially ratified in 839 by Pope Gregory IV. From this dating we get All Hallows Eve, Halloween, on the 31st of October. Prior to this, All Saints Day was part of the festival of Pentecost, a sort of ‘Birthday of the Church’ when the first followers of Jesus went out first to speak publicly to speak of Jesus’s resurrection at Easter. Eastern Orthodox churches still celebrate it."

Yeah there were parallel non Christian festivals held on October 31 also. You can read all about that.

Is Halloween evil? Are pumpkins evil? Are costums evil...? No. No. And no.
"Things" are not evil. How can an inanimate object be evil? A pumpkin is a pumpkin... a type of squash. God created it. It makes a great natural item to decorate for the fall season.
A costume is a piece of cloth that can be funny, cute, whatever.
Of course.... Anything can be used for evil.
A chainsaw is a very good tool when used properly... it can be used for evil.

I dont like to give "evil" any credit. I dont allow it to steal my joy.... it cant.... because Joy comes from God.

Anyway...our pumpkin party had a room full of kids, teens and adults gather together to eat, carve pumpkins, listen to worship music and learn about Jesus. 🤷....how evil...lol

Here is the Daily Bible Study for Friday, October 30, 2026.

Lets read todays big question....

"When do you feel like God is for you?"

Think about it before moving on. Pray about it.
Do you feel like God is only for you on the good days...? In good times...? Maybe only when you are making wise and healthy... holy choices...?

Lets read 2 Chronicles 30:9, For if you return to the LORD, your relatives and your children will be treated mercifully by their captors, and they will be able to return to this land. For the LORD your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.”

You really need to put this one into context.
This verse is a plea from King Hezekiah to the scattered people of Israel to return to God, promising that if they repent, God will show them mercy, grant them compassion from their captors, and not turn His face away from them.

The lesson of the verse still holds true... If you people repent... turn back to God, he will forgive.
So read todays question again, in light of the verse.
God was still for his people even when they turned against him... were wandering away from him....he still loved them and wanted to bless them... but the choice was theirs.
