Every Wednesday 5:30 - 6:30 - Woman's Connection Bible Study. Read your books, read the corresponding scriptures, come and discuss Gods word.
- Also on Saturday, September 26, be sure to attend the "Coffee House", 6 to 8pm - Ice cream Sundeas, bring a snack to share. Bring your friends, family, classmates and coworkers! These events are Such a powerful tools for you to take advantage of.
- Of course it all Starts on Sunday mornings, 9:30 - Traditional Service & 11:00 - Modern Worship. Come, serve at one, learn at one.
- Don't forget the Daily Bible Study, EVERY DAY

Here is the Daily Bible Study.....
Today is WEDNESDAY, September 9! TONIGHT we resume our midweek ALL ABOUT FAMILIES Activities!!! What a powerful opportunity we all have to grow to know God.....and to help make him known. All at 5:30
KIDS CLUB - Downstairs
Cabin 3 Teen Group - Balcony -The upper room.
Woman's Connection - Fellowship room.
Manup Mens group - On the Cook House Porch.

Todays big question, "When have you experienced God helping you so you do not need to be afraid?" 🤔
Think about that. Pray on that.... then....

Lets open our bibles to.....

Isaiah 41:10-13, "So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
11 “All who rage against you
will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
will be as nothing and perish.
12 Though you search for your enemies,
you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
will be as nothing at all.
13 For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you."

WOW! Read that again! How powerful is that! Four of the most comforting verses in the Bible!.... for those who believe in the Lord. If you dont, they are just words on a page and mean nothing to you. 🤷

God wants the best for you! Do you believe it??
Do you live and behave like you believe it!

If we are children of God, we should act like it, for us, for others and for God.
He's got you! He says I WILL HELP YOU!
Turn to Him.

If you absolutely can not get to church on Sunday, be sure you are in prayer and in the word every day... all week... come on Wednesday... go to the Saturday men's Tribe, go on the mens retreat on Sept. 17... stay an hour or 3 days.... ladies, read your book and the scriptures related to that weeks study, teens, we will have some scripture to read this week.... kids you as well.... read and study the daily bible study everyday..... why??? Why do all of this...??? Because God wants you to draw near to him. He wants you to know him. He's got your back. He loves you! Knowing all of this should bring you peace, hope....and a desire to RUN TO CHURCH every chance you get!!!!

Here is the Daily Bible Study for Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Todays question to ponder.... how has waiting on God helped you to be courageous?

Lets grab our Bibles and open up to....

Psalm 27:14, "Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord."

David was absolutely sure that God would come through. He knew it. He had faith... to kill wild animals as a boy and young man, to kill the giant, to keep him safe from King Saul, to teach him, to make him a great King....
He knew he had to wait on the Lord. Allow God to work in Gods timing and not in his. Over time, this gave David assurance, confidence... courage.

How about you?
Do you try to get ahead of God?
Do you try to push a plan to get what you want?... or do you sit back, have faith that God will unveil his plan when you are ready for it....
Gods timing is perfect. He wants to see your resilience, steadfastness.... your faith, in him... then maybe the plan will move forward.
I was a teen pastor for 25+ years. Every week. EVERY WEEK...ALL YEAR... 25+ YEARS.. volunteering my time.... 20 to 40 hours a week!

Plus I was in church EVERY WEEK....No saying, "i cant come to church today,.... I have to feed the goats, walk the dog, have to pick apples..." no Sunday morning flu, no excuses.

Long before i came to Carthage....I was there....in a church, for 30 years...Thanking, worshipping, serving.... faithfully, every sunday, making coffee and juice, setting up the music, shoveling the drive and mowing... for the church... Sunday morning...then on Mondays, EVERY MONDAY I would vacuum and mop the floors of the church, the basement and the upstairs.... because it needed to be done.....each week.
I was taking Baptist / Bible classes every week for 12 years, plus serving, raking leaves for older folks, doing their driveways, .... filled in at 18 different churches for 12+ years....many disaster relief trips... actively served on all the boards....why?
all because God placed that on my heart.

I didn't know why at the time. I waited. Just did it all....
God had and has a plan. I was being prepared. I learned. I grew. I was ready.
When God thought I was ready...He opened a door. I courageously walked through it.

Its been almost 10 years now, doing basically all of the same things, plus more... now in Carthage. Over 450 people have been or are a part of our church family. Now I am helping Pastors, churches, families and people in the Northcountry.... to stay focused on Christ and keep moving forward.....
....it is frustrating at times when folks, churches, Pastors dont "get it"... I feel folks should be changing priorities faster... valuing "church" more, serving, helping and chasing after Christ more.... or atleast a little.... but I know... its all in Gods time.
So I continue... faithfully... courageously. Teaching. Preaching. Serving. Praying.
God is moving. He is working. That grows my faith. That inspires me to keep on keeping on. It gives me courage... we can see fruit. Maybe not as much as WE WANT....but it is there and its growing, that gives confidence.

So I faithful opportunities for folks to jump in, participate, invite folks to, learn, serve, grow. We have lists of opportunities, events, bible studies, All about families to use as tools to reach, teach, show and go..., we have Two worship services each week...folks could work on serve one.... and on and on and on...
I share Gods word EVERY WEEK.... Haven't taken a Sunday off yet this year.... but its all good. I wait. Because I know God is good. He is faithful. His timing is perfect. That gives me confidence.

Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.

How about you?
Are you praying? Listening? Reading? Taking action? Are you serving the Lord?
Are you doing what God wants you to do...or what you want to do?

Are you all in?

Are you on FIRE.... or luke warm?

Do you get fussy when you dont get things " your way".... ?

Are you serving patiently.... or have you just decided to do whatever you want....🤷🤔

Give it some thought.... give it some prayer. Give God some time.
He gave you a lifetime. How are you spending it?

What a GREAT DAY we had at "church"!!!!! Thanks so much to all the new folks we were blessed to meet and worship with!!! Thanks also to everyone who brought food for the 10:30 weekly fellowship time.... and it was so great to see the church family! Looking g forward to Wednesday, All About Families, 5:30 - 6:30... Brandon Lake and Crowder on Friday... then worship again on Sundsy!!!
This coming week is CARAMEL CREATION SUNDAY!!!

Here is the Daily Bible Study for Monday, September 7, 2026.

Lets open our Bibles to.....Romans 8:28, " And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

God can and will use EVERY event in your life, all things, good and bad, to work for good. He will use these events to teach, to further his plan, to further his purposes.... in those who love him.
It might not feel like it at that time or maybe you are not paying attention to what he is doing behind the scenes... but when you look back....you will see.

Look back at your life. Can you see God at work?
No? Do you love him.... really....?

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.
