Sharing a message from the family of Pete Ingraham (one of the original Gospel Lads):
To the friends of the Gospel Lads: In the late 1960s, Pete Ingraham, his wife Cheryl, and their children Lisa and Rick, along with George and Nedra Melton and their family, embarked on a journey to relocate from Northern California to Southern California. Their mission was to bring their shared dream to life; to form a gospel quartet. This dream, filled with passion and dedication, led to the formation of the beloved quartet which we all know as The Gospel Lads, and which has now become a cherished part of our shared history. On Saturday, June 1st, 2024, the Lord rescued Pete Ingraham from a body that ALS had ravaged for over a year and gave him a new heavenly body. He graduated from this earthly life and began his next life in eternity, in that Haven of Rest he sang about so many times. He is now whole, healed, and free to laugh, sing, and worship his Savior in person. For those who had the privilege of knowing Pete, it's not hard to imagine his joyous reunion with those who have gone before him; friends, family, and former Lad members. We can almost see him, filled with curiosity and excitement, exploring his new kingdom. And it's not a far-fetched thought to picture him organizing a new heavenly quartet, singing with all his heart about the incredible Gospel of Jesus Christ, with the angels harmonizing in the background. We invite you to join his family in expressing your joyful gratitude to our Heavenly Father for the abundant health and vitality that Pete is now experiencing in eternity, as he eagerly awaits our arrival there with him. The family will be hosting a private celebration of Pete's life in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, later in June. We invite you to remember them in your prayers during this adjustment period. If you wish to reach out to the family, you may do so via mail or email at: 1468 Katka Road, Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805, or [email protected].
