Saints we cannot step fully into new spiritual territory while constantly returning to the old life. Let God renew your mind, transform your desires, and separate you from what keeps you spiritually stagnant. What God is building in you requires you to release what no longer belongs there.

Before looking for a special word from God, learn the Word He has already given. The safest place for discernment is Scripture.

Word of the Hour “Good God Almighty “ Minister Gretchen. Romans 8:28

The goodness of God means that God is entirely morally perfect, completely holy, always good and He is the original source and standard of all that is good. If it ain’t GOOD,it’s not God. Remember God perfects all that concerns us with his goodness. He can only be good. It’s not in his DNA to be anything but GOOD!!!
Minister Gretchen used the show “Chopped” as a visual. On this show they give Chefs a picnic basket full of ingredients that DON’T pair well together at all. The challenge is to take what’s in the picnic basket of items and make a gourmet dish. Romans 8:28 does that for those who LOVE Him!! The Goodness of GOD will take our mess, and brokenness and will make a servant fit for the Kingdom.

You can be saved for many years and still remain spiritually immature.

Not because God does not want you to grow—but because growth requires participation.

Feed on the Word.
Receive correction.
Walk by the Spirit.
Practice what you know.
Stay connected to other believers.

Spiritual maturity is not measured by how long you have been in church.

It is revealed by how much Christ has been formed in you.

Study: Hebrews 5:12–14; 1 Peter 2:2; James 1:22; Galatians 5:16; Hebrews 10:24–25.

As a New Creation

You will live differently when you understand that you already belong.
You won't pray to earn access.
You won't serve to prove your worth.
You won't obey simply because you fear rejection.
You are a child of God.

And because you are accepted in Christ, you can now pray, serve, obey, grow, and walk with confidence.

Stop living like you are standing outside the Father's house trying to earn a place.

In Christ, you have been brought into the family.

Study: Romans 8:15–17; John 1:12; Galatians 4:6–7; Hebrews 4:16; 1 John 3:1.

Grace is more than forgiveness. It is God’s power working in you to become what He has called you to be.

Being saved is not permission to keep living exactly as you lived before Christ.

You have received a new life.
You have a new identity.
You have a new Master.
You have a new nature.
But now you must learn to live like the person God has made you to be.

Don't return to the patterns Christ delivered you from simply because they are familiar.
The old you may be familiar, but the new you is who Christ died and rose to make you.

Study: Ephesians 4:22–24; Romans 6:1–14; Romans 12:2; Galatians 5:16–25; Colossians 3:1–10.

Heart Check:
Is my relationship with Christ producing visible transformation in my character and daily choices?

A new life may begin invisibly, but it should eventually become visible.

Prayer:
Father, let the life of Christ become increasingly visible in me. Transform my desires, character, words, and choices until my daily life reflects the One I profess to follow. Amen.
