⸻🪨 Your Slingshot Still Works!! When David prepared to face Goliath, King Saul offered him his armor. David tried it on, but it didn't fit. It wasn't comfortable, and it wasn't what God had trained him to operate in. So, David took the armor off and returned it to Saul.Instead, he picked up his slingshot and five smooth stones. Why?Because David remembered the grace God had already placed on his life. The same slingshot God used to help him defeat a lion and a bear would also be the weapon God would use to bring down a giant.

Present-Day Application: Whenever God calls you to do something significant, people will often offer their opinions, strategies, and methods. While their intentions may be sincere, their armor may not fit your assignment.Like David, you must know the grace that is on your life. You must learn to flow in the disciplines God has developed in you.For some, that may be: 📖 Quiet time in God's presence
✍🏽 Writing in a journal
🙏🏽 Praying in the secret place
🎶 Worship and praise
📚 Studying Scripture
🤫 Seasons of stillness and reflection

Don’t abandon your slingshot trying to wear someone else's armor. The very thing that seems ordinary to others may be the God-given tool that carries extraordinary power in your life.Your greatest victory will often come through the disciplines God personally developed in you.Stay with your slingshot.Trust the grace on your life. The God who brought you through before is the same God who will take you beyond.

The Bridge develops people, leaders, and organizations through education, support, and community. Equip. Connect. Transform.
