God is using soccer, hospitality, and Gospel conversations to reach people through Tabernáculo Español at Tabernacle Baptist Church. During a recent FIFA World Cup watch party for Mexico’s match, leaders used the IMB bracelet (“Who Am I?”) to share the Gospel with guests. One first-time attendee, invited by a friend from Nicaragua, placed her faith in Jesus Christ that evening.

These outreach events are also creating meaningful multicultural fellowship within our church family. English- and Spanish-speaking members, including several college students, have been serving together, building relationships, and helping connect new families to the church.

Please pray for the families who have recently connected through these gatherings, for continued Gospel opportunities through World Cup outreach, and for wisdom as we seek to strengthen bilingual and multicultural ministry as one church family.
