The Nature of Prophecy 1 Peter 1:9-12;2 Peter 1:19-21This series is about a Changing World. Prophetic truths that you cannot afford to miss. United Nations report calls for a new world currency to replace the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency, threatening to displace the US as the primary economic superpower. THE VOICES FOR A NEW WORLD ORDER. THE VOICES AGAINST ISRAEL. THE VOICES SPEAKING OF THE LAST DAYS OF HISTORY. THE VOICE OF THE BIBLE. WHICH VOICE DO YOU BELIEVE? GOD HAS GIVEN HIS WORD AND HE WILL KEEP IT. While biblical prophecies and their literal fulfillment may fascinate our curiosity and challenge our minds, they are ultimately intended to bring us to a personal point of decision and faith as well. Many methods of interpreting prophecy claim to be literal, but not all are consistently literal. There are several characteristics of a consistent method. Instead of Google are Facebook look to the Bible for your current events in the life to come.

The Measure of the Church. Eph. 4:13 God is blessed when He sees His children making the transition from babyhood into adulthood in a spiritual sense. God wants us to move from the spiritual nursery to the spiritual battlefield. The gift of an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher. EVERY BELIEVER'S GIFT HAS A THREEFOLD MEASURE PURPOSE. The five gifts described above are gifts that involve speech or proclamation. They are very specialized gifts, gifts that are usually looked upon as being the official or professional gifts of the church. They are not given in full measure to every believer. There is an immediate purpose for the professional or office-bearing gifts in the church and among God's people. It is to equip believers to do the work of the ministry. There is an eternal purpose for the office-bearing or professional gifts. There is the personal purpose for the professional or office-bearing gifts. The servant of God works to bring about a a man who measures up toChrist

Compassion on the Inside & Out 1 Peter 3:8-12 We are to live at peace with other Christian believers.
When the world looks at believers, they are to see a most unusual unity, a spirit of oneness that is not found anyplace else on earth. They are to see believers who are so unified and so closely knit together that they are as brothers, sisters, who stand together, who love and support each through all the trials and temptations of life. God has called all of us to extend His compassion for us to one another. But demonstrating compassion in our busy, daily lives is often easier said than done, especially in the selfish and indifferent society in which we live. It may seem like our acts of compassion often go unnoticed; when someone reviles us, we turn the other cheek, but no one seems to see. God knows, however, and He takes note of our acts of compassion. In our fast-paced world, we hurry along through our daily activities, often taking for granted the many blessings God has given us. www.sermonaudio.com/sermon/42821205418541

He Brought Us Out... to Bring Us In Deuteronomy 6:1-25 May I remind you that it is far easier to build a child than to repair an adult! May the Lord help us to do everything in our power to be the best parents we can be to His praise and glory. Its our duty to teach the truth of salvation and of the commandments to our children. Some parents actually need to apologize to their children for living contradictory lives before them. However, let it begin with the Lord. The greatest commandment ever given by God is the commandment dealing with love. When God Delivers Us, He Expects Us to Develop. Parents must be walking in a right relationship before the Lord or they will never have the influence in their children's lives that is needed. God brings us out to bring us into something greater. When God takes something away He replaces it with something better.

Israel waited for over 400 years. And I hope it emboldens your faith to see this deliverance finally come. It is a comfort, but it is also a warning. God keeps His promises, and if you are covered by the blood of Jesus, that is really good news. If you are not covered by the blood of Jesus, it is a frightening thought – an issue that would be good for you to settle today. www.sermonaudio.com/sermon/412211523452764

Greater Love hath No Man Than This John 13:34-35 This message is about Loving one another the way Christ loved us to die on the Cross for our sins.Love doesn't mean anything without action.Christ showed the world love by dying in our place. Do we do the things for our family and spouses for yourself are for the love of God.Do we do things for our family because we truly love them are they for show. Greater Love hath no man than this.

Scraping the Bottom of the Barrel 1 Kings 17:8-16 There are times in our life when we face desperate situations; -- situations in which we find our resources, strength, health, or
friends are depleted. Sometimes we find ourselves scraping the bottom of the barrel of our lives. Why does God allow us to get into the barrel- scraping business? When you are scraping the bottom of the barrel, God knows where you are and where you are going. The will of God for Elijah was revealed to him by the Word of the Lord. Are you scraping the bottom of the barrel? Realize that God knows where you are and your situation. He will give you direction at the right time if you seek Him and wait for His direction. Rest in God's promises and don't be afraid. Realize that the Lord may be refining you, removing the dross of doubt, impatience, pride, selfishness, or disobedience from your life. He may be trying to develop your faith in Him. Put the Lord first in your life.

Fresh Oil Psalm 92:10 Salvation is a Gift; it is not earned by any effort of ours; The gift of Salvation is like the gift of a Gold mine.If someone were to give you a Gold mine of incalculable worth, you would have a treasure, but the Gold would not do you any practical good unless you worked it out of the mine.Likewise we need to get busy and set to work on our salvation.Salvation is a journey! And I must work on my Christian maturity and walk. Not to stay saved, there is no amount of work you can do to personally maintain your salvation! Jesus Christ did it all for you on the Cross of Calvary. We have the Holy Spirit so that we can Run the race to win!Our goal is clear. Christlike obedience and a Christlike quality of life. We work our salvation out with fear and trembling because there are enemies. We have to fight for what is ours but not using our own resources, opinions, and initiative. He has given us His Holy Spirit to indwell us, fill us, anoint us, and lead us into all truth.

Considerate Husbands 1 Peter 3:1-7 Peter carefully opens for us a wonderful chest. It is the treasure chest of marriage. When he lifts the lid, he takes out for us an array of beautiful gems and jewels for a joyous marriage. Each jewel contributes to the value of the marriage and makes it stronger and happier when it is used in the home. If you will consistently put into practice the principles that Peter shares in these verses, you can have a great relationship with your husband or wife. The Bible gives to us prescriptions for our family and problems, and God's blueprint for a happy marriage. 1. Dwell with your wife v7.2. Live with your wife in knowledge v7.3. Honor your wife v7. Both husband and wife must love one another and live as God says to live, both fulfilling their duty to one another, if they wish God to answer their prayers.

Philippians 2:19-30 Study As chapter two closes, the Apostle Paul chooses to back up what he has been teaching with two examples that will serve as models to these believers. Paul chooses to use two men as examples of faithfulness to show them that what he had taught them could be done. He points to their passion as well as their problems and how they endured through the good and bad to accomplish the will of God. Perhaps to appeal to the entire church he uses both a younger and an older brother in Christ. Timothy Phil. 2:19-24 and Epaphroditus Phil. 2:25-30. Paul shows us the power Phil. 4:12-19; and Timothy and Epaphroditus are the proof that this mind of Christ really works.
