May you feel the truth of Ephesians 1:4-5 wash over you today: "Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure."

He loves YOU and chose YOU...He adopted YOU into His family before the world began...and YOU bring Him great pleasure.

True, pure love wants what is best for us, even if the journey there feels hard and painful. This can feel like a scary truth. However, this can also lead to deep and abiding trust because we know, regardless of how we feel or how overwhelming our circumstances, beauty *is* coming.
