Matthew 28:18-20, Hebrews 10:22-25 The Christian community is vital to the spiritual health of its members, as exhortation, encouragement, and sharing love enables the members to grow in love and, in turn, help others. Jesus Himself directed the disciples to be instrumental in the creation of more disciples, baptizing them in His name, and teaching them to observe all that He had taught to His original disciples. In addition , the writer of Hebrews made it clear that each saint is to help one another, spurring others to actions of love by creating those actions themselves. In such an environment, the saints of God are not to withdraw themselves from each other, but instead are to grow closer to each other - even as the day of Christ draws nigh. And it must be remembered that God's visitation does not always take the form of Jesus' return for His church, but man's appointment with death as well. We must be ready, for we know not when our hour may come.
