🌟 We Still Have a Few Camp Openings Available! 🌟

Harvest Ministries Summer Camp is filling up, but we still have a few spots remaining in:

✅ Session 2: June 28 – July 1
✅ Session 5: July 20 – July 22

Our camps are completely FREE for children and families. Each session is packed with outdoor adventures, swimming, games, fishing, crafts, new friendships, and opportunities for children to experience the love of Jesus in a safe and encouraging environment.

If you’d like to support this ministry, we also welcome community partners who would like to help provide meals, supplies, scholarships, and activities for the children we serve. Every gift helps us continue offering camp at no cost to families.

A big thank you to our friend and local Walmart manager, Mike Lowery, for coming out and helping us clear a fallen tree on the property at Harvest Ministries.

Mike didn’t just send encouragement — he showed up, put on gloves, and went to work. That kind of servant-hearted leadership means a lot to us.

We are thankful for friends, community partners, and leaders who care enough to help when there is work to be done. Harvest Ministries is better because of people like this.

Thank you, Mike, and thank you Walmart Columbia for the continued support and community spirit.

The Way Leadership Academy at Harvest Ministries is a Christ-centered leadership program designed to help young men develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed in life.
Young men will learn:

• Life skills and wise decision-making
• Social confidence and teamwork
• Biblical principles that shape strong men

We have an immediate need at Harvest.

We are working with several children in the Child Protection Services system right here in our community. Before children can safely remain in or be reunified with their families, the home must meet basic safety standards — and one of those requirements is that each child has a proper bed.

Right now, multiple children we serve are sleeping on couches, pallets, or sharing crowded sleeping spaces. The caseworkers cannot approve the homes until adequate beds are provided.

We are asking for donations of new or gently used twin beds (mattress + frame). Bedding is also helpful.

When a bed is placed, a child isn’t just getting furniture — it often means they are allowed to stay with their family instead of entering foster placement.

If you have a bed to give, or would like to help us purchase one, please message me directly.

You can change where a child sleeps tonight — and in some cases, whether they get to stay home.

Mississippi business owners:

There’s a state program most people don’t know about.

The Mississippi Department of Revenue allows a business to reserve a portion of the state income taxes — and even certain city and county property taxes — it already owes and direct it to a limited number of approved children’s advocacy organizations. Harvest Ministries has recently been approved as one of them.

This is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit (not a deduction), and the State approves it before any money is given.

Businesses may direct up to 50% of their Mississippi tax liability through this program.

In simple terms:
you’re not giving extra money… you’re choosing where part of your tax dollars go.
