OUR SUNDAY GATHERINGS DON’T HAPPEN WITHOUT OUR INCREDIBLE CHURCH FAMILY. 🤍

From worship and media to our greeters, hospitality, kids team, prayer team, and everyone serving behind the scenes — thank you.

Every person who shows up early, serves faithfully, and helps create space for others to encounter Jesus makes a difference.

We’re so grateful for the people who make Carson Hope feel like home. 🫶🏽

And if you’ve been looking for a way to get involved, there’s a place for you too. We’d love to serve alongside you!

What do we do with grief when we still believe God is good?

On Sunday, Ashton Fish walked us through Psalm 13 and the biblical practice of lament—learning how to bring our pain, questions, disappointment, and grief honestly before God.

Biblical lament gives us permission to:

Turn to God.
Complain honestly.
Ask for His help.
Trust Him, even when circumstances haven’t changed.

Grief doesn’t have to mean walking away from God. Sometimes, faith looks like bringing our hardest questions directly to Him and choosing to trust Him in the middle of them.

“But I trust in your unfailing love.” — Psalm 13:5

What if the good life isn’t found in having more?

More money.
More influence.
More control.
More options.
More strength.

Our world tells us, “Blessed are the self-sufficient.”

But Jesus says:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

In our latest message from our FLIPPED series, we explore what it really means to be poor in spirit and why Jesus says the Kingdom belongs to those who recognize that they don’t have it all together.

The people who come with nothing are given everything.

The people who say, “I don’t got it,” discover they were never expected to have it all in the first place.

Maybe today, the most spiritual thing you can say isn’t, “I’ve got this.”

Maybe the prayer is:

“God, I don’t got it. I need You.”

Why does God care about your work?

For a lot of us, Monday feels a lot less spiritual than Sunday. Work can feel mundane, draining, or just like something we have to do.

But what if God wants to meet us there too?

This Sunday, we talked about how work was part of God’s design from the very beginning—and how, through Jesus, even the ordinary parts of our lives can be redeemed and become an expression of worship.

Whether you love your job, hate your job, or are somewhere in between, your Monday matters to God.

What if Jesus wrote a letter to our city today?

This Sunday we looked at His message to the church in Laodicea—a church that looked successful on the outside but had become spiritually lukewarm on the inside.

Pride doesn’t always look arrogant. Sometimes it looks like believing we don’t need God.

Jesus lovingly calls His church back to humility, repentance, and complete dependence on Him.

🔥 Are we relying on our own strength?
💰 Is success becoming our identity?
❤️ Are we pursuing Jesus more than anything else?

“The one who boasts must boast in the Lord.”

Take some time this week to read Revelation 3:14–22 and ask God to reveal any areas where He is inviting you to trust Him more deeply.

What a beautiful Sunday together. ❤️

This week, we had the privilege of welcoming Pastor Michelle Sawyer as our guest speaker as we continued our Dear Church series with Jesus’ letter to the church in Smyrna.

What if your greatest trial isn’t proof that God has left you… but proof that He’s growing something deeper?

Through Scripture and powerful personal stories, Pastor Michelle reminded us that while suffering is part of the Christian life, Jesus never asks us to walk through it alone. His presence is constant, His promises are true, and our pain is never wasted.

Whether you’re in a season of joy or carrying something heavy, this message will encourage you to hold onto the One who remains faithful through it all!
