Pastor Candice shared this simple way to remember our priorities on Sunday:

1. Jesus first.
2. Others second.
3. Yourself last.

Easy to remember! Living them out is another story. 😅

Because putting others ahead of ourselves doesn’t always come naturally. Neither does choosing patience, showing genuine love, or doing the right thing when nobody else would know the difference.

That’s why character isn’t built in one big moment. It’s practiced in the little ones.

Jesus. Others. You.

A pretty simple reminder to carry with us this week. ❤️

One word from yesterday’s message that we’re taking into this week:

👉👉👉CLING.

In Romans 12:9, we’re told to “cling to what is good.”

Pastor Candice explained that the word cling carries the idea of being glued to something. And we kind of love that picture.

There will always be plenty competing for our attention. Plenty that frustrates us, worries us, or pulls our focus in the wrong direction.

So this week, what if we intentionally glued ourselves to what is good?

The good happening around us. The good in other people. The good God is doing that we might miss if we’re only looking at everything that’s wrong.

Cling to what is good. ❤️

If someone followed you around for a week but couldn’t hear a single word you said, what would they learn about you? 🫠

Not from what you believe about yourself. Not from what you post. Just from the way you actually live. How you love people. How you respond when life gets frustrating. Whether you show up when someone needs you.

This Sunday we’re starting with a pretty simple question:
👉👉Who Are You?

We’ll be looking at Romans 12:9-13 and what our everyday behaviors can tell us about a life of genuine faith.

Because following Jesus isn’t only something we say we believe. Eventually, it shows up in how we live.

We’ve all met someone who says, “I’m a really nice person,” and immediately thought…Are you though? 😂

But the funny thing about character is that we rarely have to announce it.

People figure out who we are by watching the little things. How we respond when we’re inconvenienced. How we treat someone who can’t do anything for us. What we do when nobody’s keeping score. Eventually, our actions introduce us.

And maybe that’s a better question than asking ourselves what kind of person we think we are:

What would the way I live tell someone about who I am?

What’s a small thing someone can do that instantly tells you they’re a good person? ❤️

Maybe it’s how they treat a server, what they do when someone needs help, or how they talk about people who aren’t in the room.

It’s funny how the smallest things can tell us a whole lot about someone.

Most people hear the word power and picture someone important.
A leader. A boss. Someone with a title.

But real influence usually looks much quieter than that.

It’s the parent who keeps showing up.
The neighbor who checks in.
The friend who listens.
The teacher who believes in a student.
The person who chooses kindness when nobody is watching.

This Sunday we’re talking about using whatever influence we’ve been given with wisdom, humility, and purpose.
