Update on Pastor Marc from Mrs. Jan, June 17th:
This has been Marc's best day so far! Hopefully, ICU will soon be in the rearview! The reports today have been optimistic! He's enjoying grilled chicken, carrots, and mashed potatoes as I post. God is faithful!
Thank you, Jesus! ✝️
Update on Pastor Marc from Mrs. Jan, June 16th:
Progress is being made! He was able to come off one of the two blood pressure stabilizing meds that he had been taking, which is a step in the right direction. The rash isn't as itchy, and his skin is less sensitive. The steroid cream is helping that. They say his symptoms have been popping up like a Whack-a-Mole game, but they are getting knocked out one by one, and the medical team feels like we're winning. They're still conferring with different branches of medical to assure issues are getting remedied, and will talk to Urology to see what the timeline would be for removing the stent that he has from the Lithotripsy. Today, he has been able to eat two regular meals, and the therapist and nurse helped him out of the bed into a chair for the first time. The healing is on its way! Thank you, Jesus!
Update on Pastor Marc from Mrs. Jan, June 15th:
Pastor Marc is hanging in there. They are kind of stumped and checking out everything. He will go for several scans soon. Hopefully they will know more when the results come back. He just had some lunch and enjoyed that. Thank you for your prayers!
Update on Pastor Marc from Mrs. Jan, June 14th:
He rested some last night. They are adding some soft foods and drink to his menu today. They are diligently trying to figure out the flush and rash that are making him miserable. Please pray they can determine the source. He hasn't lost his reflex action or his sense of humor. 😃Please continue to pray!
Update on Pastor Marc from Mrs. Jan, June 13th:
Areas Pastor Marc could use prayer in:
Better kidney output,
Infection to be gone,
Continued clarity from the anesthesia fog,
Released from ICU,
Hematoma not to bleed again
Update on June 12th from Mrs. Jan:
Marc is still in ICU, but stable. Those 2 procedures were so close together, and along with the complications, the trauma has been hard on him. So, they are monitoring several things. He's been resting a good bit today, though. We will probably be here for several days. Earlier, I reminded him his name, Marc, means Warrior, and he added yes, Fight the Good Fight of Faith. Thank you all for the prayers! ✝️
Wednesday, June 10th:
Pastor Marc had to go to the ER last night and got transferred to Emory. He had developed a large hematoma from his kidney surgery on Monday. They had to do a procedure to get that internal bleeding stopped.
The procedure went well and the doctor was able to take care of the bleeding for now. We're praying that holds and he has a swift recovery.
