Pastor Chris and Vanessa had the opportunity to attend a gathering with Somebody Cares Ministries and Doug Stringer on Friday evening!

At Sojourn Church, we believe in the importance of supporting ministries that are making a difference in our communities and around the world. Through your faithful giving of tithes and offerings, we are able to support ministries like Somebody Cares as they continue their work of serving others and sharing the love of Christ.

We’re grateful to partner with ministries that are advancing God’s Kingdom! ❤️

Our nation needs prayer—and Christians need to show up! 🇺🇸🙏

Pastor Chris McRae encourages us to exercise the privilege and responsibility God has given us to vote. As believers, we are called to seek wisdom, pray for our leaders, and vote according to biblical principles and our conscience.

📖 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” — Psalm 33:12

Let’s not sit on the sidelines. Pray, seek God’s wisdom, and make your voice heard at the polls!

Voting is more than a civic responsibility — it’s an opportunity to exercise wisdom and discernment. 🇺🇸🙏

In 1 Kings 3:8 and other passages of Scripture, Col. Allen West reminds us of the importance of praying for those running for office, asking God to give them wise and discerning hearts as they lead. He also challenges us to seek that same wisdom and discernment as we approach the ballot box.

Let’s be faithful to pray, seek God’s wisdom, and vote with discernment as we steward the responsibility He has entrusted to us. 🇺🇸

As we continue toward Election Day, let’s lift up everyone involved in the election process in prayer. From candidates and their families to election workers and voters, we ask for God’s protection and peace. 🙏

Today, pray against violence, threats, and retaliation. Ask the Lord to protect those serving their communities, bring peace amid disagreements, and help our nation move forward with wisdom and grace.

No matter the outcome, may we be people who pursue peace, trust God, and reflect the character of Christ in the way we treat one another.

📖 “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” — Romans 12:18 (ESV)

In a world filled with competing voices and information, we need God’s wisdom to discern truth from deception. As we prepare to vote, let’s ask the Lord for clarity, understanding, and discernment. 🙏

Today, pray that truthful information would reach voters, that misleading messages would be exposed, and that people would seek wisdom as they evaluate candidates and make decisions.

May we be guided by truth, grounded in God’s Word, and discerning in all that we hear and believe.

📖 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” — James 1:5 (ESV)
