Today's Message titled "The Lord Will Fullfill His Purpose For You", comes from Psalm 138:8- The Lord will perfect that which concerns me, Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands", and Ephesians 1:18-23 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that is which to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Today's Message Titled "The Elements of Purification", comes from John 3:1-3 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called Children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself just a He is pure.

Straightway Christian Ministries is mourning the passing of our First Lady Elect's aunt and church mother's sister, Ms. Inez Levitte. Services will be held at Hillside Baptist Church Tuesday June 26, 2012 . We thank you all for your acts of kindness and prayers during this time.

Sraightway Christian Ministries welcomed Pastor J. Terry Barnes of Mt. Sinai Church in Tallapoosa, Georgia to kick off our 9th Pastoral Anniversary Celebration. Pastor Barnes brought a powerful word of encouragement titled "Don't Let Go of Your Joy". The teaching came from John 15:10-11, "If you keep My commandments you will abide in My Love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." He also taught from Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord always, Again I will say, rejoice!" A message that truly blessed the hearers tonight. Straightway extends our deepest gratitude to those who came tonight. We look forward to seeing you all Sunday for services at 11:00 A.M. and at 3:00P.M. where Evangelist Carolyn Holt and Apostle Otis Kenner will be speaking. We love you!

Straightway Christian Ministries would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting Pastor Askew as he delivered a powerful message on Tuesday night at Mount Sinai. The message titled, "How to Check Your Baggage", came from 1 Samuel 10:22, "Therefore they inquired of the Lord further, has the man come here yet?" And the Lord answered, "There he is hidden among the equipment".
