Carrollton First Methodist Church is a congregation in which anyone and everyone can Connect with Christ, Grow in faith, and Serve more fully in God’s love. Join us for worship on Sundays!
10:00am Sunday School
11:00am Traditional Worship (Sanctuary)
11:00am Hispanic Worship
5:30pm Solid Rock Youth

Members worship together on Sunday mornings and study God’s Word in small group studies throughout the week. The Solid Rock Youth program serves Junior and Senior High students with exciting worship and fellowship opportunities as well as fun trips and missions trips. Our children’s ministries seek to teach children from nursery to upper elementary school about the love of Christ and God’s plan for their lives. The Adult Ministries group provides members with unique travel and fellowship opportunities from the church building to as far away as the Holy Land itself. The Spanish-speaking congregation offers worship, multiple weekly programs, special celebrations and some travel opportunities. Join us in making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world!

Pastor Travis, thank you for being a pastor who genuinely loves his people. Thank you for the conversations, the encouragement, the laughter, and the countless ways you care for CFMC.

From the pulpit to the everyday moments throughout the week, you continue to lead with a heart for Jesus and a desire to see people know Him more deeply.

We’re grateful not only for the pastor you are, but for the person you are. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to CFMC and for faithfully walking alongside us.

What if the good life isn’t about having more, but about seeing what we already have differently? God has entrusted each of us with gifts, resources, time, and opportunities that can be used for something greater than ourselves. When we stop chasing “more” and begin asking what God can do with what is already in our hands, we make room for generosity, gratitude, and purpose. May we continue on with this week and be faithful with what we’ve been given and open to the good God wants to do through us.

We closed out our “Knocked Down, Not Out” series with Patty Culpepper, who shared her story and reminded us that sometimes life takes us into seasons filled with uncertainty, unanswered questions, and circumstances we never expected.

Even when we don’t have all the answers, we can trust that God is still at work and that our story is not over. Thank you, Patty, for sharing your story so openly and for reminding us what it looks like to keep trusting God in the unknown.

Galen Hobbs shared his story with us this Sunday as we continued our “Knocked Down, Not Out” sermon series. It takes courage to share the difficult seasons of life, and we’re grateful for Galen’s willingness to be open about his own journey and the ways he has continued to get back up and move forward.

Stories like Galen’s remind us of the strength found in faith, perseverance, and a community that walks alongside one another through every season. Thank you, Galen, for allowing us to hear a piece of your story and for encouraging all of us along the way.
