Pastor Jennifer shared some simple but powerful words of wisdom during today’s children’s sermon ❤️

“Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
“Use your words.”
“Actions speak louder than words.”
“When you fall down, get back up and try again.”
“We can do hard things.”

Just like Peter shared words of wisdom with the early church, God gives us wisdom through His Word every single day. We loved seeing our children listen, learn, and pray together this morning. ✨

“Help us to love You by following those words.” 🙏

🥚✨ One egg was extra special this year… because Miller found the GOLDEN EGG! 🏆💛

But the best part wasn’t what was inside the egg… it was hearing Miller share the real reason we celebrate Easter. ✝️🌅

Jesus is alive, and that’s the greatest treasure of all! ❤️

We loved seeing our community come together for such a fun day filled with laughter, candy, and the hope of Easter! 🐣

🌎💛 Meet our friend, Mission on the Move missionary AJ Ford!

During Children’s Church, Pastor Jennifer introduced the kids to AJ and shared how First Baptist Church Carrollton has partnered with Mission on the Move in Honduras for many years through mission trips, support, and ministry partnerships.

AJ shared exciting updates about:
✨ Their growing education programs
✨ A new kitchen expansion
✨ Young adult housing and support ministries
✨ The incredible progress of students like Jose
✨ How their ministry focuses on four “cornerstones of care”:
Education, Nutrition, Discipleship, and Family ❤️

This summer, a team from FBC will travel to Honduras to serve in local schools, encourage teachers, and continue building relationships with the community. 🇭🇳

Please join us in praying for AJ, Mission on the Move, and our June mission team as they prepare to serve and share the love of Jesus! 🙏

We had a blast at the First Baptist Church community-wide Easter Egg Hunt! From the mad dash across the lawn to the candy-filled payoffs, it was a morning to remember.

What happens when the foundation starts to fall apart? 🧱

Sunday during the children’s sermon, Pastor Jennifer used a tower of blocks to teach us an important lesson… Jesus is our cornerstone. ❤️

A strong foundation helps a building stand tall. And when Jesus is the center of our lives, He helps us stay strong when life gets hard.

Pastor Jennifer took blocks away from the bottom of the tower, and the whole thing came crashing down! It showed us how important a strong foundation really is.

When we build our lives on Jesus, He helps us stand strong. ✨

We loved watching our kids learn this important truth today at First Baptist Church Carrollton!

Watch this sweet moment from our community Easter egg hunt 🐣💛

Melanie came with her mom and sister and shared what Easter means to her… “celebrating God.” ✝️ And if she were the Easter bunny? She’d hand out suckers to everyone! 🍭

We love seeing kids experience the joy of Easter and share their hearts like this. Moments like these are what it’s all about. 💕

We played a fun mystery game in Sunday Worship! 🎒
Everyone reached into a bag and tried to guess what they felt… without looking!

Some were easy… like a feather and a cotton ball.
But some were tricky! A toothbrush that was really a paintbrush… and a ball that felt kind of funny.

Sometimes we think we know what something is… but we don’t really know until we see it!

That’s kind of like what happened after Jesus died.
The women went to the tomb, not knowing what they would find. But when they saw it was empty… they knew!

Jesus is alive! ✝️

And just like them, we can tell everyone we meet that Jesus loves them and He is alive!

That is the best news ever 💛

The Community Easter Egg Hunt at Lake Carroll Park was a big success! 🐣🌸

The night started with inflatables, playing on the playground, and face painting. Then Pastor Jennifer gathered all the kids and shared the Easter story of Jesus. It reminded us what Easter is really about. ✝️

After that, it was time to hunt for eggs! There were over 8,000 eggs filled with prizes, and everyone had so much fun!

We loved seeing our community come together for a night full of joy and hope. 💛

🎄✨ Wednesday nights at First Baptist are full of joy!
Our CAM3 & CAM3 Jr. kids were busy blessing others and preparing their hearts for Christmas!

📦💚 They packed Operation Christmas Child boxes with love…
🎶 They practiced songs for their upcoming Christmas performance…
👗👑 They tried on the cutest costumes…
🎨 And of course, we made time for arts & crafts filled with Christmas cheer!

We love watching our kids learn, serve, create, and celebrate the true meaning of this season. ❤️✨
