What a sweet way to kick off Labor Day! ☀️

FBC Kids & their Families had such a great morning together at Hobbs Farm! We put Pastor David’s message about living an unhurried life into practice by slowing down and enjoying a nature walk together.

Along the way, we stopped to notice the flowers, leaves, and all the little things God created that we can so easily hurry past. 🌸

Then, of course, it was time to PLAY at the new park! 🛝

Sometimes we just need to slow down, look around, and enjoy the people and the beautiful world God has given us.

Wednesday nights are full of fun at FBC! 💛

Our kids had a wonderful time singing, playing games, making arts and crafts, and learning more about the Bible. 📖🎶🎨

They even practiced finding books of the Bible and looking up Bible verses on their own!

We love watching our kids learn, laugh, and grow in their faith together each week. ❤️

Who we spend time with matters. ❤️

In this week’s children’s sermon, Pastor Jennifer talked with our kids about the people we choose to be around. Our friends can affect the things we say, the things we do, and even how we follow Jesus.

She also reminded us to make time for God. 🙏

One way we can spend time with God is through prayer. Prayer is simply talking to God. We can talk to Him anytime and anywhere, and He is always there to listen.

What a great reminder for our kids and for all of us! 💛

FBC Kids 2026-2027 Calendar is here! 💜

We have such a fun year ahead for our FBC Kids! From Growing in Grace and family nights to our Fall Retreat, Christmas Worship, Pinewood Derby, Easter Egg Hunt, VBS and so much more, there are lots of opportunities for our kids and families to learn, grow, serve, and have fun together.

Parents, save this calendar and mark those dates! We can’t wait for another wonderful year of growing together at First Baptist! 🌱✝️

An invitation from Jesus and everyone is invited!

During today’s children’s sermon, Pastor Jennifer shared what it means when Jesus calls us to “fish for people.” No fishing pole needed, just a willing heart. ❤️

We follow Jesus when we love others, share the good news of His love, and invite others to follow Him too.

Jesus called His first disciples long ago, and He is still calling us today: Come, follow me. ✝️

🎒💛 Blessing of the Backpacks was such a special part of worship this morning!

Each of our children received a button for their backpack with a simple reminder to carry with them throughout the school year:

“You’ve got this. Renew your mind.” 🧠✨

A reminder that no matter what this school year brings, God is always with them, guiding them, strengthening them, and helping them along the way.

We’re praying for a wonderful school year for all of our students, teachers, administrators, and school staff! 📚✏️

☀️ What a summer it’s been at FBC Kids! ❤️

During today’s children’s sermon, Pastor Jennifer asked our kids to share some of their favorite memories from the summer Passport Camp, Farm Day, Bible Jenga, VBS and so much more!

We’re so thankful for all the fun, friendships and opportunities our kids have had to learn more about God and His great big love for them. 🫶

And we’re not done yet! Next Sunday is Kickoff Sunday, followed by the start of our Wednesday night children’s program, Growing in Grace, Rooted in Faith. 🌱

We can’t wait to see what God has in store for our FBC Kids this year! 💛
