We’re kicking off our MULTIPLY series this week! 📖

In Week 1, we’re looking at Matthew 25:14–30 and the Parable of the Talents. The big takeaway? God expects increase from what He entrusts to us. It’s not just about keeping what we have; it’s about growing it for the Kingdom.

Join us as we explore how to be faithful with the 'few' things so we can be entrusted with more. 🤝

It’s possible to look alive… and still be empty.

Rooted is a series about moving past surface-level faith and building a life that lasts. We’ll uncover what keeps us from growing and learn how to develop deep, steady roots in Christ.

Because what’s rooted… remains.

Week 4: You Didn’t Lose It

It didn’t disappear—it just hasn’t been stirred.

In this message from 2 Timothy 1, we’re reminded that faith can grow cold, but it can also come alive again. God calls us to stir it up, stand in His strength, and step back into the life He placed within us.

Good morning and happy Sunday, West End family! 🕊️ As we prepare to gather for worship today, let's realign our hearts with God's priorities.

Scripture: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." : Matthew 6:33

Observation: Jesus gives us a simple but profound command: priority precedes provision. When our primary focus is on God's kingdom and living in His ways, the anxieties about "all these things": our needs and worries: begin to find their proper place.

Application: Before I dive into the busyness of the day or the worries of the upcoming week, I will take a moment to intentionally "seek first" His presence in worship. I'll trust that as I put Him first, He will take care of the rest.

Prayer: Lord, help me to keep the main thing the main thing today. I choose to seek Your kingdom first. Thank You for Your promise to provide for every need as I follow You. Amen.

Happy Saturday, West End family! 🦅 Let's find our strength in Him as we head into the weekend.

Scripture: "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." : Isaiah 40:31

Observation: God doesn't just give us a little boost; He renews our strength from the inside out. When our hope is placed in Him rather than our own energy, we find a stamina that defies our circumstances.

Application: Today, instead of pushing through on my own power, I’ll take a few "hope pauses." I’ll consciously place my trust in God’s timing and strength for my weekend plans.

Prayer: Father, thank You for being the source of my strength. When I feel weary, help me to wait on You and find my hope renewed. Thank You for carrying me through. Amen.

Happy Friday, West End family! 🌅 Let's head into the weekend with our focus exactly where it needs to be.

Scripture: "I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken." : Psalm 16:8

Observation: The psalmist makes a conscious choice here: to keep their eyes "always" on the Lord. It’s not a passive state, but an active alignment. The result of that focus is a profound sense of security; because God is right there, nothing can rattle our core.

Application: Today, when I feel distracted or stressed, I’ll take a "focus breath." I’ll pause for a second, visualize the Lord at my right hand, and remind myself that I am secure in Him.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being our constant companion. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on You today, so that we can walk in Your peace and remain unshaken by the world around us. Amen.

Good morning, West End! ⚓️ As we move through this week, let's anchor our hearts in God's unwavering hope.

Scripture: "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain." : Hebrews 6:19

Observation: The author of Hebrews describes hope not as a fleeting wish, but as an "anchor for the soul." An anchor's job is to keep a ship from drifting during a storm. Likewise, our hope in Christ keeps our souls steady and secure, even when life feels turbulent.

Application: Today, when I feel pulled in different directions or overwhelmed by news, I will choose to drop my anchor in the hope of Christ. I’ll remind myself that my security is found in His presence, not my circumstances.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being our hope and our anchor. When life feels like it's drifting, help us to stay firm and secure in You. Thank You for the peace that comes from knowing You are with us. Amen.

Midweek blessings, West End! ☕️ Let's take a moment to check our roots today.

Scripture: "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." : Colossians 2:6-7

Observation: Paul encourages us not just to start our journey with Christ, but to continue living every moment in Him. This spiritual growth happens in two directions: downward (rooted for stability) and upward (built up for maturity), ultimately leading to a heart that overflows with gratitude.

Application: Today, I’ll focus on staying connected to Jesus throughout my busy schedule, not just during my morning prayer. I’ll look for three specific things to be "overflowing with thankfulness" for by the end of the day.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for being our firm foundation. Root us deeply in Your love today and help our lives to be a reflection of Your grace and strength. Amen.

Hello Tuesday! 🌿 Let's take a moment to refresh our spirits with God's word today.

Scripture: "But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither: whatever they do prospers." : Psalm 1:2-3

Observation: The psalmist describes a life that is deeply connected to God's truth as a flourishing tree. Prosperity here isn't necessarily about wealth, but about endurance and vitality regardless of the season.

Application: Today, I’ll find a few moments to "meditate" on God’s goodness. I want my roots to reach deep into His truth so I can stay resilient through whatever the day brings.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the living water of Your word. Help me to delight in Your truth and to grow strong and fruitful as I stay close to You. Amen.
