The LCC men’s fellowship group held their monthly meeting last Thursday at the church, and it was attended by 18. Bob Rumbley, representing CARE Tallahassee, was the guest speaker. A lively conversation followed his excitement presentation regarding the problems associated with recently released prison inmates and reducing their rate of recidivism via Christian involvement. Two former inmates were present and they gave their testimony as to how CARE and other Christian ministries had 100% changed their lives for the better.
An excellent breakfast was prepared by Daniel Thompkins. All of those attending left with plenty of food for the body and soul, as well with much food for thought.
Our next meeting will be on July 18
at 8:30 in the church fellowship hall.u
