First Presbyterian Church will host the community Christmas Concert being organized by the Caro Chamber of Commerce. The event will be Thursday, December 5th at 7:00 pm

The Caro Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce we are preparing for the upcoming holiday event of the season... the Caro Chamber of Commerce Gingerbread Village December 5th, 6th & 7th! This year's event is shaping up and is packed with lots of fun, family friendly activities along with your favorites too, such as a business decorating contest, gingerbread house making contest, a community concert (orchestrated by none other than your favorite Dee Dee Tibbits!) also featuring a Christmas walk, Santa's arrival, music, band, choir MC by our local Sean Smith, who is the 2023 merit recipient. In addition we will have room for vendors, crafters, live animal petting zoo warming stations, hot cocoa treats for the kiddos, breakfast with Santa, a scavenger hunt with cash prizes, A free movie with (2) the originals - A Charlie Brown's Christmas and Frosty the Snowman, and penny voting winner announcements on Saturday, December 7th. All of which we offer free to the community to attend!

How can we do this? All because of the generosity of the businesses who support our events and tons of volunteers who are so dedicated to growth and prosperity within the Caro community! And this is where you come in. We need you! This event cannot be pulled off by us alone without your support. The sponsorship form to be completed is attached. Thank you for all of you who continuously support this event. Please contact the Chamber if you have any questions on participation. Please complete the form and return to the Chamber via email [email protected]. No later than November 1st to get in printed materials.

As we continue in the season of Lent, First Presbyterian Church of Caro will observe Maundy Thursday on March 28th with a spoken word service at 7:00 pm which includes Communion. Members and friends may observe Good Friday at a service at the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church March 29th at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to these services.
