Awana is changing its name!!

We no longer follow the standard Awana curriculum, so we’re changing our name to avoid confusion. The students have voted to name our group “Liberty Kids Club”!

Nothing is changing but our name! So- if your kids start referring to Wednesday nights as “Kids Club”- you’ll know why!

Last night some of our students shared their testimonies with the class! We’re so thankful for their salvation and obedience to the Lord. ❤️

Our kiddos collected around $150 in quarters for the church quarter drive! 🪙 These will be handed out by church members at a local laundromat. What a great way to share Jesus with the community!

If you teach any of these sweet kids, please join us on September 20th at 10:00 for Educator Appreciation Sunday. They recorded videos thanking teachers for all they do, and you won’t want to miss them!

Finally, please remember that Awana now follows the Life Group schedule. There will be no class next Wednesday (9/17)! ☺️

A couple of reminders for parents!
-Please bring quarters for the quarter drive by Wednesday 9/9 or Sunday 9/13.
-Remember to practice your songs!

Tonight we learned about the Tower of Babel! Each team was asked to build a tower out of cups- without talking! Our “Bible Buddies” were paired up, and the older students did an EXCELLENT job of leading the younger ones! The kids learned about the importance of glorifying God instead of ourselves, and they each drew a picture of ways they can glorify the Lord. We finished the night with “four square”. Sutton was the big winner!!
